ToS2: Temple of Darkness completed!  That dungeon was a lot more straight forward than the ToS1 version!

Also, Mystic Artes are available, yay! Actually, surprised they bothered to give the ToS1 characters Mystic Artes, considering I think they're all temps...and I now have 3 of them, go figure!
Additionally, Marta gets Special *BEFORE* she gets an Arcane Arte?  Isn't that like the most pointless thing ever?  Or can she use a Mystic Arte chained from Resurrection or something?

Messing around with VC on new game+, trying to get this one last PC (Knute, engineer) to show up and having absolutely no luck. I've been using all the people who list him as a friend, had them get plenty of kills, get KO'd themselves, whatever might trigger his recruitment. Nothin'. What a jerk.

He likes money.  You need a million DCT to get him to show up.

Intense Hidden is about 100% easier than Hard Hidden, though.

The circles that indicate when you need to tap disappear on Hidden.

I'd wondered if that was it, considering I read his personnel file in a FAQ and he basically sounded like Milo Minderbinder. Should only be a matter of time until I get him, then, since there's no longer anything to spend money on.

WA3: Okay, I started a file like two years ago, got to Ka Doingle, quit. (I had found the game rather dull at that point, fights were long and unimpressive.)

Reloaded it up, beat the boss fight (man, Janus is a pretty decent dueler), then went to the Secret Garden/Decaying Labyrinth.

I'd like to say at this point that I actually -enjoyed- that section. Pretty challenging, medium-low risk of screwover, tough as nails boss that requires you to use the system... yeah. It made the game's options actually feel worthwhile. (I went at L15, suspect L25 or so is the "intended" level). The main issue was getting out without encountering a Rachel squadron, but my winning run I was a screen away before fighting them, and got insane lucky - all of them Decelerated first round.

You probably will never see a fight as brutal as that again, especially given how you just got handed the most abusable thing WA3 has to offer. Of course, you could decide that you don't want to sleep at Gallows' home for twenty minutes a pop for unlimited broked item works. >_>

Mana Khemia

Started this up just for voting purposes.

Game is fun, and reminds how awesome high school was. >_>

I guess that is the fun trend these days. Have a school simulator/rpg. Whatever works I guess?

The characters are all enjoyable...though I can't stand Nikki. Do I have to complete her characters quest for anything important? Because I have neglected her since I had the chance to pass her up on free days for the other characters.

Flay is pretty awesome, I guess that's the general consesus?

I have a question regarding some of the characters.

Why is Anna a middle? I would imagine that because she has that one sword technique that lets her get free turns in, she would be Heavy at least. Is that movie interpreted a different way?

Pamela was pretty useless to me until she became physical immune to everything.

I came into this game thinking I was going to hate Muppy. I can honesty say I am pleasently surprised at his character. Though if he doesn't end up killing everyone in the end I will also be doubly as dissapointed.

I am in chapter 9 right now, and just got access to the God's scar and the other school dungeon. Hopefully these dungeons will have new ingredients because I have been lacking in some new areas to get items for synthesis in awhile now.

Also, I hate Tony's voice actor.

I am trying to get all the Snap cards I'm missing in my collection, and I'm stocking up to have at least 10 each. It's not so difficult as I used my panoramic accessory since I retrieved it from the detective agency, and normally at the beginning of every battle. >_> Yeah, I have a lot of cards.

Anna has some SP issues in the DL and she's not as strong as Vayne or some of the other top fighters.

Nikki's quest is completely skippable. Death to Nikki in general.

What he actually does in his ending is arguably more disturbing.

So, not the stupidest thing ever, but still stupid.  Yay forcing you to memorize things even more.  Because the game really needed that.

EF - The game's "superboss" was sorta disappointing in practice, in spite of the on-paper insane stats. I guess the game's just a bit too vulnerable to a really high-end blitz, since I could two-turn it before his spirits came into play (four-rounded in practice). For the better, at least: the thing starts spamming Miracle at lowish HP and also likes using the initiative spirit. And Miracle'd Hades Line is over 3x PC HP overkill while his GT damage nearly OHKOs your face.

Just beat Jonin with Frank at L37. Definitely underleveled, but my awesomeness can handle anything. Frank for Heavy.

Actually, I think if Frank had even 300 HP, so around L28ish, he'd be able to beat that asshat. Total formula that's easily noticeable at the beginning of the fight. Also, increasing the attack number doesn't help much unless your teammate is at the max level your current highest level character is at. It pretty much disperses the total damage within those multiple hits. At least with Frank. Frank for Heavy? <-lolol.

Marta's MA chains off of her higher end spells, if memory serves.  The Temp's MAs also, for the most part, get significantly higher mults to help make up for their gear sucking.

Well, sucking for 95% of the game at least.  I still didn't bother using them after they got their end-game gear back, but I imagine Presea and Lloyd both hit really bloody hard with theirs.
