"I'm getting really tired of this, Locke. Every time this adventure's in trouble someone is like 'Oh, help us! Where's Edgar, he'll fuck our way out!'"

Wow. Best Alternate Character Interpretation ever.  :o

Well, I was really just making a reference. Watch more Arrested Development and you'll get it. In fact, let me rescind that last part and just say "watch more Arrested Development." Cause it's a goddamn awesome show.

But yes, I always did think of GOB as Edgar.

FFX - Just managed to finish the pilgrimage, knowing a lot more about the game, there was one frustrating boss, and one difficult boss.  The difficult one being, no surprise, Seymour Flux, while the frustrating one was the one guarding Zanarkand.  Ruddy Curaga counters.  Settled him with a Counterattack sword on Auron, and even that boss can't deal with a 20k Atomic Loogey finisher.

Now I need to resist the urge to go exploring so that the endgame will be able to put up a bit of a fight.  Maybe just hold myself to Caladbolg since I already have all the pieces.

Yay Idun *high fives*!

SO4- Wandering Dungeon. Near six hours + sleep time and haven't made it to the final floor. I'm on the second last one though! (F19) I can't find the last freaking crystal to destroy so I can unlock the next floor. It took like around four hours to make it to F14, still haven't finished and I haven't even been hunting out every single treasure chest or fighting every single random. Wow. Just wow.

For those of those that don't know/forgot this, it has no save points and randomly generated floors >__>

Lymle's Trinity Blaze absolutely mauls Dominator dragons and just mauls in general really, I'm surprised.

ToV-Spinning around, made it to L3 of the dragon races. Explored more of the final dungeon, collected treasure. Still have to find Rita and Repede's fell arms.

Edit - Defeated Iseria! Ended up using the same thing I used to defeat Gabe the first time, blindside juggles with Meracle, Sarah in a corner for using revives. I fought with Bacchus and Lymle alive for a while but just left them down in the later stages of the battle. No Item Creation but I did end up saying screw it and using a Spriggan Jewel a while after Iseria went into Supernova stage~

VPCotP:  Beat the second iteration of Seraphic Gate.  Freya fight was damned hard this time, compared to being a cakewalk the first time.  Iseria Queen was lolihatemeteorswarm.

Been using Ancel, Ailyth, Roienburg, and Langrey exclusively.  Everyone is level 35.  Ailyth is sucking pretty hard due to lack of armor/new weapon, and checking a FAQ I see that she doesn't get new equips for quite a while.  May drop her for Reinhilde, may just keep her because she's leveled already and has skills taught.

Rogue Galaxy

Left the Desert Planet and now on the Jungle Planet. As I understand it there is a City Planet in my future but I expect that I will end up on an Ice Planet next. In the meantime we are cribbing items from Zelda games.

To put it mildly the story so far can not be considered quality by any stretch of the imagination. Fortunately I am not overly affected by that sort of thing.

Revalation Flow system seems pretty nice, although I get the feeling I've seen something like it before, I can't for the life of me think of what I'm thinking of however. Unfortunately seems that a large proportion of unlockables are just levelled up versions of other unlockables, which is saddening.

I can not aim jumps with any degree of accuracy whatsoever. I fervently hope that the necessity to do so remains a minor gimmick. Being able to monograph enemies and bounce them to death is amusing at least.

I would totally have TF2 if I was confident in being able to play much of anything over the internet at my house.

Then again, SSBB wasn't any worse than I've heard other people say it is, so I might have to rethink that one...

Anyways!

Metroid Prime 3: Beat what was effectively the prologue. Now I have the PEDo suit and Hyper Mode, so things will be getting different. Of course, the controls already took some getting used to, but I was able to handle the first Ridley fight without much trouble, so I'm doing pretty well. Still unsure of how I feel about the setting being something other than 'fall on a planet, good luck!' but it looks like I'll get to wander around horrifying alien planets at my leisure now.

TWEWY - lolmingle. I'm in Week 2, Day 2. Joshua deals a lot of damage, but requires actual maintenance due to utter lack of invinco frames on his offense, and his dodge is awkward.

EDIT: This just in time for me to pay attention to the upper screen in a more detailed manner. Joshua's strings require actual maneuvering instead of spamming left or right, which certainly makes for more tense battles, especially now that enemies are getting more aggressive. Still managing a high rating average.

I'd suggest tagging Freya along for a bit. Ether Strike takes a while to fell off, and immediately picks up afetr she gets the better weapons. And ignore Ailyth entirely, she SUCKS.

Crisis Core: Fought Sephy. Had one reset due to getting hit by a quick physical right after Heartless Angel. Would've run if I'd known it was HP->1, but eh. Stopped after fighting a bunch of Shinra goons, figure I'll be leaving Nibelheim soon.

~

Also, hooked up the Gamecube to start up SoA. Can't get any sound for some reason. Thought I had the A/V cables hooked up right since, hey, I matched the colors up, but apparently not.

Those are composite cables if that matters, Cid. Maybe I forgot a sound cord or something?

TWEWY - Week 2, Day 3. Getting the hang of Joshua. Meanwhile, the Meteor pins are -ridiculous- when upgraded and I have Neku wearing stilettos due to 103 Brave. +17 Defense off high heels? Yes please. This game is love.

I'm also seriously considering dropping into Hard difficulty, since even at L1, having endgame pins in the earlygame is sorta *snap.*, so. Can't say no to awesomer rewards.

P3- Up to 10/5. Shoulda seen that one coming, with the Castor reference and all. Can't say it really affected me, since he was only around for a short time and I never really used him. Was cool enough though. Emojesus fails.

Most bonus dungeon monsters don't count for the encyclopedia, unless it was actually one of the uniques.  It's also possible you missed a job/course monster earlier on.

Since I was kicked out of my room temporarily....I have had no gaming system or internet madness for a little over a week now.

So, popped in Suikoden Tierkreis and got back into where I left off.

~

So, I stopped playing the game and forgot what I was doing.

and in this game that can hurt you, so I spent a lot of time grinding some of my un-used stars while aimlessly roaming the world.

Still no tensoku star.

Ended up I left off right before my army was going to retake Chrodechild's (sp) homeland. The game has a pretty neat story, what with all the world's and the false chronicles and the one true king!

Started plowing through the story, it was nice to see so many people die in this game. (most games in general tend to keep everyone alive till the very end.) Hello desert!

In any case, I am knocking on the doorsteps of Cynas getting ready to finish the game or nearing it I assume. I just....haven't recruited that many people, so for the time being, I will more then likely check every area and see if I missed anyone. (which I know I have!)

As of right now, Chrodechild and her sister of equally silly name are my two personal favs to bring along. True Falcon is nice.

I also have like, no money, I need to serisouly screw with that trading system or something.

"It took hundreds to kill me, but I killed by the thousands."
