I have all the Zenny in the world

Can you enlighten me as to how you pulled that off. Constant low funds was pretty much the bane of my life.

Djinn knows how to work the Zenny, duh.

How far are you into P4 Djinn?

SF4: Purchased! Games For Windows Live is already a gigantic pain in the ass.

The game runs pretty smooth at 1280x1024. There's some slowdown in the fight intros for some reason, but once the fight starts it's a solid 60 FPS. Not sure who I'll be playing yet. If anybody's got this version, kick me for online play.

MK2: Why is Flay not being fired for this.

Hey, there's a limit to what even the coolest person can get away with. The amount of lawsuits the school would get hit with for that stunt would bankrupt the place.

They didn't expel Muppy, who nearly destroyed the school multiple times and actually took the principal to gunpoint in a kidnapping scheme. For someone to actually get punished in that school, you'd probably have to literally destroy a couple countries.

Considering how Ermentraude has Bernard wrapped around his finger, that's more or less enough. Plus, you beat up the thing that almost ate the school, so it was alright!

Since I've been on a PS1 kick lately, I continued with Parasite Eve. As usual, the game could benefit from scene skip, but it gives me a boner regardless.

What's with you people and liking to inform others of the state of your male reproduction organ? Just earlier someone informed me what music he got a boner from.

MK2: Two things, first off.

-Chapter 8 boss was pretty solid.

-The mana kings are morons.

Chapter nine now, supposed to go the Deep Ruins. I presume this is the end of the game (for this path, at least) but I'm trying to invent everything I possibly can before I go in there. Some items require items I've never seen and are possibly found only within the ruins, a couple others just take items that are a pain in the ass to find (rainbow feather--I know the harpies in the chapter 8 dungeon drop them because I got one the first time through, but I just went back to get more and didn't draw a single one of the required enemy through something like fifteen fights. Arghlefuck. And twilight berries...which I haven't found at all, but presume are obtained by searching that one gathering point late in the day).

Mostly so you don't confuse them for a girl and start hitting on them.

There are a lot of materials that are unique to each of the character paths, so don't go nuts looking for, say, Ancient Meteorites or that last Dirt-type material until you hit Raze's final.  Don't remember what Ulrika can get that Raze can't, so grab what you can.

As for myself, cleared the combined path.  Boss gets owned by Naoto for free, but good outside of that one flaw.  Final party was Ulrika/Chloe/Lily/Enna/Pepperoni/Puniyo.

Saying 'so and so gave me a boner' IS a pretty American Nerd way to praise things. Which inherently makes it awesome, of course, *cue eagles, red white and blue jet fighters, explosions, patriotic music, fat shirtless drunk guys*

Finished Beast's Castle. That boss was cool as hell - though things happened so fast that I paid more attention to the menu bar than to the actual action screen, locked on when he steadied for ground attacks and went in flying with Limit on and Beast a'attacking. I think it would have been infinitely more annoying to focus on the screen, especially towards the latter second form when he rotates Sora into counterclockwise mish mesh with a super short opening to counter with . . .  triangle, but I forget  the move - Slingshot I think. Yeah. Now I'm in Mulan's territory. YAAAAY Mulan, I love Mulan!

Fallout 3: Started a new game and I'm going to try to play a neutral female. Unlike most people, though, the main problem I'm going to have is not being too good - had to basically steal the contents of a few houses to bring me down after 101 and saving Megaton.

Arghlefuck. And twilight berries...which I haven't found at all, but presume are obtained by searching that one gathering point late in the day).

Twilight Berries are bag drops in Millenium Forest if you have access to it.  Rainbow Feather... well, looks like the enemy that drops that shows up only in the final dungeon on Raze's path, so I bet the dungeon you mentioned is the only place you can find it on Ulrika's path, though it's possible you find them in the final as well?

And yeah, as Unoriginal said, some ingredients only show up on one path.  If you can find Beginning Seeds, grab a bunch of those because Raze's path only gets one in a treasure chest and no others.  Dunno about anything else since I haven't finished that path yet.

And there are some things you can't get on either path and have to wait until the final part I think.

PS: Glad your C8 boss was competent.  Raze's was a complete joke.

Ok so I bought Saints Row 2 and Call of Duty 4 like a month ago but apparently both discs are nigh unreadable. SR2 keeps on locking up whenever I get a car going too fast (which is a shame, looked like it was going to be a ton of fun) and CoD4 just won't load the next level, and apparently only autosaves when the last level is loaded because I've had to do the fucking tank mission over and over again.

Which leads to me replaying DMC4 on Son of Sparda difficulty. Blitzes make me wanna cry, Frosts are mildly annoying, everything else has been tolerable. Belial fell to the 'ole trick of 'stand in front of face and slash away', Bael actually managed to keep me on my toes.
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

Hmm, this came up while playing a game, so might as well ask it here!

Was replaying Disgaea on my PSP, and it stopped wanting to read the memory. I'm getting a lot of conflicting info online from less than optimal sources. Anyone here have suggestions, similar experiences, etc?
