You can't tell the AI to use OL, but you can, say, set them to use them against bosses, for instance.

And dammit, Gref, I want to play Dragon Age.

Eh, you should be fine not FAQing SMT:N... so long as you didn't do Hard Mode. >_>;

SMT:Devil Survivor: Oh holy shit I'm really enjoying this game but damn do I suck at it is it just me or do Animal Leg + Double Up stack as well as I think they might?

KH358:  358 Mission points (hint, mission 54 in Halloween Town is hella fast and easy), and 160 Challenge points.  Challenges aren't quite as ridiculous as they seem to be at first, but still a pain in the ass.

PWI:  Finally finished my TT80 armor set.  Blademaster just hit level 82.

QFT. Unless, of course, you feel like trying the sidequests. Those'll probably need a guide/someone telling where they are just to find the damn things.

FE8: Ugh. The opponent having Berserk staves is annoying. The opponent having -two- Berserk staves is infuriating. The opponent having two Berserk staves and using it first-turn on my only healer who has the Restore staff is just fucking stupid.
In other news, Colm still sucks, although Neimi doesn't any more. Ephraim getting Berserked after L'Arachel spells pain for my team, and leads to a dead Artur and a reset. Dozla is FREAKING OVERPOWERED. Tana is surprisingly useless, but I'm gonna stick with her and hope she improves. Not promoting at Lv 21 is annoying. :( Luuuuuuuuuuuuuute~

Psykoden- Yep, playing this! It's actually pretty fun so far. The plot moves at a breakneck pace, which is actually pretty good as it's been pretty enjoyable so far, and I think a lot of a momentum would be lost if it was slower (Since the game worked well with a sense of urgency). That said, just went to Janam and I think the slowing just sadly occured. Probably not really going to bother to do much extra recruiting. Also, the game is seriously pretty, which I was not expecting.

Nostalgia - Beaten, doing postgame crap.  Game would be a 4, except the airship battles are far more tedious than they have any right to be.  So it gets to hang out in the 3-3.5 territory.

Also started Atelier Annie, because why not.

Karol's Special skill stuffs.

It is a 1/3 chance each time you rest in Dahngrest.  Probably just luck hating on you (Nothing like having to sleep 6 times to get the last one, fuck you luck).

And you should play Dragon Age based off of what I have seen so far Rob, but yeah I will keep you posted if it ends up good overall.  If the rest of the vignettes are as good as the Dwarf Male Commoner one then I am really happy with my purchase, I can spend my time playing those.  Hoooopefully the female one is slightly different also.

Bangai-O Spirits: Good gameplay, terrible level design. The first stage puts you in the middle of an open arena, surrounded on all sides (including above and below) by enemies who are about to launch a screen-full of missiles at you without warning. It just gets stupider from there. Luckily there's a full level editor, with downloads that don't require wi-fi, so I can see how the fans did.

Edit: Wait, no, the level download is buggy as fuck. Goddammit.

Nah, back to the original Bangai-O on the Dreamcast. And this shiny fandisc I downloaded that has MvC2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, SF3 and two kinds of SF2 on it.

There was an -original- Bangai-O? Wow. Also, looks like the best thing out of the fandisc is the SF2s. Granted, that's enough.

Yeah. It was an N64 shooter that got rereleased for Dreamcast and somehow made it to the US.

You know, is that sensibly emulatable? I should give it a go.

The N64 one is easily emulatable; I played it a bit before getting the DC version and it ran on Project 64 with no issues. Dunno about the dreamcast version; I've never been able to get DC emulation running properly for anything.

FE8: I know it's been said before with every FE game under the sun but: DESERT STAGES SUCK.
Oh, I know! Let's limit all your movement except for on your aerial units, and then overload the stage with fucking archers! Then, we'll separate your forces and bombard the smaller half with reinforcements constantly, and then throw in two bosses just to really rape you. And an item that can end up attacking yourself - only screws you over once, but really fucks up an attempt when it does backfire for the first time.
In other news, finally through that stage, and Eirika and Ephraim are reunited. Yay. <3
(Lute is still awesome.)

I've only ever managed to get DC emulation working for Jet Set Radio(Okay sure we called it Jet Grind Radio for some dumb money reason but that's not as catchy to say. <_<).  No other games.  Odd choice for one game to have work, too. <_<

FEDS: Just got Minerva!  She seems pretty awesome by this game's standards.  I mean, by GBA FE standards, thsoe stats suck on a Prepromo, but everything in this game has much lower standards to begin with, so yeah, definitely using her.  A in Axes on a unit that may very well be the best class in the game...how can I resist <_<?

ToV- Is that Million Assult?? Or am I seeing things??

And breaking record time on Spiral Draco doesn't look very easy now.. The amount of tweaking is a bit time consuming. Things would have been a lot easier if Yuri can have Falling Ice or Putty can have the Zankantou....

Phantasy Star Universe yeah. Perhaps I was overtly harsh, I collected enough monies from the last missions to buy a bunch of new weapons, new armour and a bunch of new photon arts/techs. I'm just hoping the healing tech is MT instead of ST because having plenty of ST healing items but no MT blows. I used the last of my MT Star Atomonizers early in the last chapter meaning characters were dying by the end including Dorsen so I lost mission points. The synthesis option also opened up on my current chapter though which is quite nifty so far. I just need to find more stuff to make new stuff. Oh and storywise the end of Chapter 3 was quite dramatic.

Phantasy Star Universe has a story?

SaGa Frontier: Stat-testing and stuff, so I've been playing this a bit. With careful FAQing, at least I know it's -possible- to play a game with DL-legal options. More on that later.

Finished getting the bulk of the difficult numbers from Humans and Mystics. Anyone interested? Please take a look and make sure I haven't made any grievous errors (if you can interpret my messy spreadsheet, that is).

Info comes from this faq:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/198537/4147

and this topic:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=198537&topic=51404644&page=4

Initial stats, equips, and skills from here:
http://sf.data.project.tripod.com/Eroneous_Waylay/INITDATA.txt

And character skill affinity from here:
http://sf.data.project.tripod.com/Zaraktheus/PC_Spark_Chart_For_Export.htm

Also, these are just kind of interesting reads in general to me.

I see Andrew hasn't posted about how awesome Dragon Age is. I feel that the magnanimous donation of the use of my computer along with 2 hours spent trying to find the damn game in the FIRST place rates some sort of positive review of the thing.
