DA: Game finished. That had to have been at least twenty minutes' worth of credits. Jesus. And that rock song was so goddamn cheesy. Anyway, ending was mostly just there. Curious about some of the possible variations, though, particularly Morrigan's offer. I gather that if you play a male MC she asks you to impregnate her. As a female MC, she instead asks you to talk Alastair into doing it. This is probably even more messed up. Anyway, I went along with this horrible plan, because I'm such a great friend. I'd guess that saying no to this plan just means that you die in the ending?
Took Alastair, Leliana, and Wynne with me for the endgame. Replacing Alastair/Leliana with Dog/Morrigan would've made for a superior party, but I picked the lineup mostly on the basis of sentimentality (Wynne is just there because how the hell else do you deal with a boss without a healer?) Didn't have much trouble with the horde or the final boss anyway. I guess the empty slot in my army menu would've been occupied by the Dalish elves if I hadn't wiped them out?
So yeah, game is pretty good if the meandering, BG-style sidequestathon kind of game is your thing. Bit heavy on the dungeon-crawling at times, but the cast is charming enough so eh, I don't care.
