King's desperation move is so hard to pull off in Art of Fighting 2. Only successfully did it once. Only one harder is Eiji's, which I've never been able to do.

Underwhelming? She's easily my second best character right now(best being '95 Kyo). As far as for later games, I'll prolly only like it if she still controls the same. What characters I use in fighters has nothing to do with how good they are and everything to do with how intuitive and easy I personally find controling them to be. And since I know KoF has a habit of completely changing how some chars handle between games...

King's stayed fairly consistant in most KoFs. About the most major change I can think of was in XI where she decided to mimic Sagat and get high/low fireballs.

It's mostly because her priority in '98 suffers a lot, too much invinco and autoguard running around. Given how her normals are so heavily reliant on their range and capability to poke people out of stuff, she doesn't like it much. In '99 and 2k, they improved her priority and gave her easier moves (most striking is the fact Double Strike is no longer qcfx2+B/D, but qcf+D, which makes it tons more practical), along with giving her a few new tools to round out her game. She plays pretty much the same, but just more efficiently. 2k3 would be the one you'd probably find weird, since she actually changed a bunch.
