Aaah~ Back to normal.

It's always fun to display my favorite pervert-girl.

Sig is back with more Backloggery and kingen goodness.

Fun fact: I initially tried to simply link to my avatar from photobucket, but the DL coding has it so that it auto-enlarges images images to fit the recommended size, pixellating the hell out of it. So I uploaded it directly for less wonky results.

Been re-reading the archives at Schlock Mercenary, and grew tired of Jubilee (For all that I found her one of my better fits... I just got so USED to her), so I've made a change for now to Captain Kaff Tagon. Tagon is just awesome incarnate. I love comic strips where the main character is the funniest. (And oddly, he's not the titular character. Weird. Eerie.)

EDIT
Actually, Legs is funnier. Legs cracks me up in about 70% of the strips she's in.

Say it with a little more surprise, why don't you.

I've been shilling Schlock almost as long as I've been shilling Sluggy, but no one ever seems to follow my advice. Go figure.

Somehow I never noticed you hyping Schlock. Good taste there~ Though I ended up leaving Sluggy behind awhile ago. Just kinda lost interest during the whole Ocean's Unmoving bit and never went back.

That's a pity.  The current storyline is actually a whole lot of payoff for staying with the strip this long (or, y'know, just getting through the archives that far).  It's taking it's time with it (storyline started in December), but it's been a very good ride so far.  Not to mention you also missed a really good Aylee story.

As for Schlock, I don't think I've ever seen it hyped in the DL before, which is odd since it's probably the most consistant (and consistantly good) strip on the web.  Then again, I may also not have noticed since I didn't need the prod, having followed it for about four or five years now.

I should probably get into Schlock but I think he is at his best when he is being kind of petty and mean.  I miss Checkerboard Nightmare.

Hey, sucks to be you if you don't like a well-written story with an enormous cast of flushed out characters, complete with some really bad-ass science fiction and an author who has updated EVERY FUCKING DAY WITHOUT FAIL for what approaches nine whole years.

Schlock Mercenary is the best webcomic on the internet, and anyone who disagrees is either dumb, crazy, or both.

EDIT
I really shouldn't insult people into doing what I want. It rarely works.

What are you talking about?  Insulting people into doing things works all the time.  Everyone has played Fallout now.

You can tell the author is a nice guy because he treats VSM like a real person!

And...  yeah.  Far better sci-fi than Starslip, though he doesn't get quite as gimmicky as Straub, and generally tries to avoid overt commentary as well.  So, take your pick as to what you like.

Time to see how well people pay attention.
Rocky: you do know what an A-bomb is, right?
Bullwinkle: A-bomb is what some people call our show!
Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

Lawl, ATLUS keeps sending me newsletters about that game. Something about pre-ordering it and you get a little plush version of the main.
