Well over half the people missed 1. It was pretty shocking to me honestly. 17 and 10.. most of the people knew at least.

Misguessed Seifer for 13, but I wasn't nearly as confident in that.

#1 is *NOT* the most memorable of lines, and there's a lot of characters I could see saying it (hell, when I first saw the line, I instantly thought "That sounds like something that'd fit into FE9" though I knew that wouldn't be the case given Super hadn't played it.)

Not to mention despite having seen that scene at least 4 times (2 playthroughs, 2 failed attempts at replays that ended somewhere around fighting Luca), that line brings up no memory to me.

I don't find that line unmemorable myself, though the real reason it came to mind instantly is that Super has quoted it several times in the past. That, 13, and B1 (argh why did I miss that) are all quotes I associate as among his favourites.

By the way, Super, could you post the number of people who got each question right (see other quizzes) when you get the time?

I don't remember them at all. S2 I frameskipped through fairly quickly, FF6 I blitzed through as well. Not to mention both quotes aren't very good and I doubt I'd remember them if I played the games a million times over anyway.

Quoted, yes.  Cited, no.  Kind of loses the "should know where its from" claim without a citation to go along with a quote, you know.

Lots of quotes are like that after all; I know many people who know these famous movie quotes, but won't know where the line came from initially (in fact, a surprising amount of people think "Luke, I am your father!" (purposely misquoted that, cause that's how people recognize it) think its from Return of the Jedi.)

Or better example: Not everyone knows that "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" is from Zero Wing, even though just about everyone online has heard that term.

I know I'm being annoying, but yeah, can't expect people to know where a quote is from simply by using it.

Yeah...  while it does sum up Luca nicely (and I think I attributed something else to Suikoden 2), it also just felt like an Ike line as well (and...  Ashnard as well, both the Protagonist and Antagonist of that game are wonderfully practical).

That said, 7 out of the 12 I had ever seen before, with only one of them feeling like something I should have recalled.  So, not too bad a score.

Kinda figured 16 was either from Shion or Rinoa based on how people reacted.  Glad to know it was from the Xenosaga that I never touched.

Missed 1 from not ever playing it, and 17 from not having played it for a long time and not remembering many quotes from it anyways. 10 I got without ever playing because I'd heard all about the whole "gets a ship dropped on him and throws it back" thing in a topic someone made somewhere about how unbeatable Id was compared to fictional characters who aren't actual gods.

Got 14 and 16 to boot - Wasn't sure on 16 until the hate train started, and no one here has a hate train quite like Shion. 14 was just random remembering.

8 makes me cry. So much. Actually, thought it was Rikku myself.

Missing 20 also makes me cry. Even more so, in fact. Especially because I'm a Serra fan. God.

Of course, I've only actually extensively played 5 of the games on the entire list, so getting a score that's more than half that number is okay, even if one of them wasn't from a game that I've actually played.
