Test that champion! Heavy 1

Dhyer's topic and list and the other tournaments that measure how good a fighter are in depth, a lot of fun to read, without a doubt paint an excellent picture about how good someone is.

They're also painful to vote on thanks to the amount of time required. My idea for this topic's much simpler- Take a random field from a random season, and take  four characters who are currently ranked in the division and see how they fare. It gives you a good cross section without tons of voting. I'm also tossing in the actual champ, to see how board opinion meshes with who won that season. Worth a try!

For Heavy, I rolled:


Season 39 Heavy -Hahn, Rose

Hahn vs Silmeria- Some nonsense with status arrows.
Hahn vs Freya (FF9)- Luna. I have zero respect for Hahn's physical.
Hahn vs Freyjadour- Think he can stave off a OHKO and slow down Freyjadour, which gives him the win.
Hahn vs Artea- Tenative. Think Artea's fast enough to prevent Hahn from lapping in time with his speed down.

Hahn: 1-3. Low Heavy, about what we knew. All of his fights were interestin, except for Freya.

Rose vs Silmeria- Status arrows.
Rose vs Freya (FF9)- ID.
Rose vs Freyjadour- Easy OHKO.
Rose vs Artea- Easy 2HKO.

Rose: 1-3. Both her and Meru have some massive durability issues that hold them back in their respective divisions.  Fighters with counter are pretty much an auto loss for her and she has an unpleasant holy weakness. The ID/dark spoiling's nice but it isn't enough to be a threat in the division.

Sierra vs Silmeria- Coinflip fight.
Sierra vs Freya
Sierra vs Freyjadour
Sierra vs Artea- Think I allow the bunny ring as of now.

Sierra: 3-1. High heavy. Does lose to Rose though!!!

Hahn vs Silmeria - Silmeria...yeah.  ID immune, smashes his defense...
Hahn vs Freya (FF9) - Mmm...Luna was 100%?  Freya...was slowish?  I do allow the ID stone defense (...was there one?).  If there was one, then Freya wins...without, Hahn wins. 
Hahn vs Freyjadour - Hahn.  DEATH.
Hahn vs Artea - ...wow.  This is one of those fights that goes on for a while...but Artea has more resources.  Artea.

Rose vs Silmeria - Silmeria.  See above.
Rose vs Freya (FF9) - Depends on ID, again!  Freya wins if there is a blocker to me, loses if not.
Rose vs Freyjadour - Rose.  ID!
Rose vs Artea - Artea.  See above. 

Sierra vs Silmeria - Silmeria.  Above!
Sierra vs Freya - Freya...could get dark defense?  If not, go Sierra, ID or not.
Sierra vs Freyjadour - Sierra!
Sierra vs Artea - Artea!

...wow, these are all very similar. 

Hahn - 1/4
Rose - 1/4
Sierra - 2/4

Go Silmeria, on another note.  Archer girls FOR THE WIN!

Freya's around average speed and can't block ID. Luna is 100% unavoidable.


Freyjadour can't block ID or dark damage.

That's probably not too different from Freya's, but Freya wins durability by a considerable margin, and probably doubles at some point to make up for Hahn shooting attacking first. Actually... I think they both 4HKO each other. Certainly close.
Hahn vs Freyjadour: Hahn's mdur is fine, and Freyjadour lacks the speed to resist Elim.
Hahn vs Artea: Artea has plenty of the stats Hahn hates.

Rose vs Silmeria: 2HKOs, blocks stone, faster.
Rose vs Freya (FF9): ID. Berserking Rose is suicide.
Rose vs Freyjadour: ID. Freyjadour 2HKOs but he's slower.
Rose vs Artea: Ow, faster holy magic.
