Music Quiz 2008!

Well, might as well start these up again!

I made this for the Minimeet, and figured might as well make it public.  Those who were at the Minimeet (Super, El-cid, Shale and Pyro) are not to participate, naturally. 

Anyway, you know the rules; guess the origin (cause not all are from games) of the song came from, get a point, ideally guess the name of the song, but that's unnecessary.  20 Questions, 2 Bonuses, and a Super Mega yada yada Bonus.  That's just the format for *THIS* quiz; subsequent quizzes by other people (and ideally, only one quiz should be held at a time, for sanity sakes.)

Also, please avoid being vague.  I can't tell what you're thinking; if you say "Suikoden" when you mean and were thinking Suikoden 2, I am accepting that answer as Suikoden 1.  Please give SOME sort of identifier if possible (you can be silly and label it like "Suikoden: The one with Luca" if you want; that's cool since there is only one with Luca, just make sure its obvious what you mean.  Saying something like "Suikoden: The one with awesome music!" obviously doesn't help <_<)

Note this quiz was done up fast and with not a lot of thought.  I will tell you that no game was used more than once for the main 20, and none of the songs are remixes either; naturally, Bonuses can very well be exceptions to this, since well, they're bonuses; they exist to be speshul and what not.

Unfortunately, there are no fun tales to tell about this quiz like the DLC2 quiz, as in, it didn't nearly kill some one, no fanboys getting out done on songs specifically meant for them, no constant guesses of Star Tropics on every song that wasn't blatantly obvious...you get the point <_<

Plan on ending the about a week and 1 hour from now...well...maybe a bit later, but you have roughly a week!

EDIT: Oh yeah, if you're forgotten, send me answers through some sort of Personal Message, be it in Chat, AIM, board PMs, E-mail, whatever will give me an answer without giving it away to anyone else <_<

Ha, I'm the only one who got -any- of the first four? Though I do remember thinking that whole opening was Elfbait. Only one I missed that I've played is the WA2 track, though I have heard FotS before and obviously failed at recognising it!

And I haven't bothered with MMX4 of FF3 at all. Or ever.

I know I got FMA and Champloo right, I think I got Pokemon without having played it (pretty distinctive style), and I got Terra.

Technically, Fighting of the Spirit is in ToS, and it doesn't sound much different besides the vast quality difference >_>

And... missed 2 from games I've played, 11 and 15.

I put the ToP version on specifically; the version of ToP chosen didn't particularly matter (whoever got it right merely said "ToP"; I think someone said "Sounds like the original, if you want more specific" but yeah.) I've done this before with similar songs; I put a song that has a melody in multiple games, and want the specific game that version is from (see "Final Fantasy" on the Big DLC2 Quiz being FF12 specifically.)

So no, I didn't forget, I just wanted to make people actually think about it on more than a melody level <_<

Missed WA2.  dammit.  And I agree with the Fighting of the Spirit thing.  They're similar, which is how I figured it out since I've never played ToP, but they're definitely different in more than just sound quality.

Only one person recognized Persephone's music? Fail, DL.

Pretty sure 3, 5, 11 and 15 were the ones I yelled first at the minimeet. Also recognized 8, 17 and 20, just don't think I was fast enough on them. Should've recognized Bonus 1 from the LP, really, but didn't get it.
