Maxim's friend and steady swordsman is as tough as they come, being a match for Koro in toughness even before his healing IPs and protective skills are put in place. Guy's warrior spirit means he doesn't have the usual fighter's problem with status attacks either, meaning Koro can't get around Guy's overwhelming strength.
