Naesala (vs Luther)
« on: March 06, 2009, 05:38:28 PM »
Ah Luther.  Brilliant executive in charge of the burning heart of an entire society's economy, a man with godlike reach and power in the mundane, let alone more literal godlike power within another universe of his design.  Normally such a man has so many secrets, a perfect target for Naesala; pity there's not really anyone to sell them to.  So denied his preferred course of action, Naesala will have to do things the boring way, swooping and clawing and rending his foes into submission.  The mighty Raven King has many advantages in this fight.  Luther is highly offense oriented, and his lacking defense compliment's Naesala's speed-based approach nicely.  Additionally, Luther's offense is split into many smaller hits, all of them subject to the raven's capacity to evade.  Coupled with Luther's tendency ot underestimate his opponents and not use his strongest moves from the start, Naesala should even be able to whittle him down with Vortex before getting serious himself.  Boring really, it's not nearly as much fun when your opponent doesn't have any enemies to work with.

The mighty Raven King has many advantages in this fight, starting with his formidable evasion.
