I've gotten back into the game in the past few days due to random boredom, and it's one of those games most of the DL can play. This is sort of a general interest/chat topic, to see if anyone else wants to play with us. Games have been going on at Yahoo.com around 11pm EST. Last game was awesome. I shot on a hold hands. Thanks again, Trips! I really like Hearts for rewarding both defensive and aggressive play, and being an all for one type of game .It's far more fun to drop the bitch on some poor bastard on the second or third round than it is to work together with a teammate in Spades. I need to try Bridge as well, as that looks to be fun.

I haven't played Hearts in a while. Used to play it all the time on my computer all the time though. I'd be up for a game sometime.

Whenever I can drag enough people onto Yahoo for it. Usually use IRC to contact everyone, sometimes AIM.

Went 3-1 tonight. Tal won a game, I carried the rest. Tal is way too tough to set in general, the last game went on for ages. Excal shot at least twice and VSM did once and they still both finished at the bottom.

Man, Tal won a game by virtue of shooting because he got like 10 diamonds and the rest of us had none.

Also somehow Nitori managed to stay more than one round of tricks with 0 pts.

2-1 tonight. Fun is coming from behind and winning the final game. Tal had like a 20 point lead he lost in the last few hands. He went into the last round ahead by two points, but ended up eating most of the hearts. (Nitori ate the bitch).

Tal was mean and for some reason holds a Hearts grudge against me.

If you leave a time when you usually play this, I can attempt to make it--provided I am not procrastinating from doing something productive in other ways.

Alternatively, if you're going to play Literati for some odd and obscure reason I am completely and utterly game. But I guess that's something for another thread I could make but am too lazy for.

Heh, I'd be game for Literati too, but especially Big 2. WE NEED MOAR BIG 2 PLAYERS.

In fairness, with the hand I had I would have done that regardless. The fact that it got you the bitch is just icing. ^_^

It's somehow more satisfying to force someone to eat the bitch that way than to actually drop it directly, though.

I rather enjoy it either way. The earlier the better, which is why I depise leading mid cards unless I only have one to go to be void.
