Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA) - Can tank a Mystic Art rather easily and 2HKOs.
Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs) - Myria.

Heavy:

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3) - Hugo 2HKOs Kornell and goes first. If he 3HKOed, he could just heal until a double instead, that wouldn't take too long. So.
Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) vs Percival Fraulein (S3) - The kappa wins against the elf this time.

Middle:

Heath (FE7) vs Alhazad (WA) - SLEEP AND ALHAZAD MAGIC AGAINST HEATH RES

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7) - This is ugly.
Slash (CT) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA) - Outspeeds by rather a lot. Luke probably 5HKOs and Slash might not, but counters add up.

Godlike:

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA)
Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs)- Going by BoF 3 Myria since BoF 1 has major issues...man, Terra comes close, but at the worst the ID gets her.

Heavy:

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3)- Don't think Kornell kills in time.
Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) vs Percival Fraulein (S3)

Middle:

Nina (BoF5) vs Colm (FE8)
Heath (FE7) vs Alhazad (WA)

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7)
Slash (CT) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA)
...into the nightfall.

Godlike:

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA)
Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs)

Hi Godlike. Oh well.

Heavy:

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3): Really not close to me!
Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) vs Percival Fraulein (S3)

Middle:

Nina (BoF5) vs Colm (FE8): Probably isn't even one-rounded, which just gives her too many chances to win.
Heath (FE7) vs Alhazad (WA): Heath may win if he doubles, but he's oddly slow for a wyvern (average?), so I don't think he does.

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7): Fire
Slash (CT) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA): Enough respect for Slash here. And wow, a fight where Luke really, really wishes I allowed him the Jewel of Lorelei.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

Was there magical evade in BoF3, and if so, could Venom/Evil Eye be evaded?

Not remembering this detail too well. Bah.

EDIT: Checking boss topic, apparently so? Mmm. Terra may very well win for me, then, need to math it out (since it looks like there's storebought Confuse blockers, making Venom worthless...

Godlike:

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA): This just isn't pretty.
Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs): Death. Think she also had Paralysis. The "Myria 1 is unbeatable awesome" hype needs to drown in fire and be mitigated for the exact same freaking reason people penalize DQ8 bosses so badly, except Agni lasts forever and is a lot more devastating than any of those monster teams wish they could be.

Heavy:

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3): Hugo's physical didn't even 2HKO according to Dhyer's topic. Anyway, Kornell and his two actions get the chance to off him. Thanks his stars he is ITE.
Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) vs Percival Fraulein (S3): Air Anchor.

Middle:

Nina (BoF5) vs Colm (FE8): Colm does 66% damage on a double. Nina has 77% HP and negligbly below average defenses. She is living through one of his doubles, and so feeds him two turns of Death Spam. That isn't pretty against Colm. His Evade is offset by the total lack of Res.
Heath (FE7) vs Alhazad (WA): Rar status.

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7): Fiery death.
Slash (CT) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA): Funny how Tales heroes tend to be either very good or very poor duelers.

Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs)-  Unless Death was a limit.

Death is a 50% HP limit, but it's 50% of Myria's HP and she does have Paralysis before that.

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA) - Played TotA on hard mode, so usual disclaimers.  Impressive as Van's HP is there...  he only gets the really sick damage off his physicals if you hang around and take the full brunt of his exploding sword of doom.  Ghaleon's animation shows him teleporting around with his sword.  That would be a Bad Thing for Van to face in an action-RPG arena.

Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs) - Myria1 doesn't have Instant Death, and her damage is bad when scaled vs. Agni (even if her durability is still stupidly awesome).  Drain takes the day.  (And I never beat BoF3.)

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3) - - Good match, but Kornell definitely beats Hugo on Turn 2 if you let him have double actions.  And Hugo only 2HKOs Kornell with a very harsh interpretation of his HP - I personally am unusually nice with regard to support credit to Kornell, but you have to give him none at all pretty much to knock Kornell down to the ~1x PCHP where he'd get 2HKOed.  (If you let Kornell only have one action...  yeah, he probably loses, a WOWed Buster comes close to OHKOing Hugo on turn 2 but not close enough I think.  He needs the second action to finish the KO and stop healing shenanigans.)

Ghaleon (Lunars)

Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs) - Have I even played any BoF3 for a while...~?

Middle:

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7) - Suikoden always wins

Godlike:

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA): One sided match of one-sidedness.
Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs): First off, Agni INCREASES Myria's Durability, not lowers it; you can do well over 999 damage to Myria with Rudra + BoltX + StarHR item cast + Puka; even if you assume Nina in place of Rudra (Ryu can still item cast as a Dragon), that's still above 999!  Her durability should be enough to run Terra out of resources; Drain isn't doing enough damage, she's got speed, and its Myria1's HP.

Myria 3...Evil Eye spam will hit before her HP runs out.

Look, I'd love to see Terra in the finals; I'm sure you all know that, but I am fully aware that Myria is not someone she's capable of beating.

Heavy:

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3): Heals and attacks or something.
Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) vs Percival Fraulein (S3): Noiseblaster or Air Anchor; pick your poison (...that isn't Bio Blaster <.<), either fucks Percival over.

Middle:

Nina (BoF5) vs Colm (FE8): Yeah, Death Spam works for me, seeing as apparently she lives through Colm's assault (...and is going first anyway; Nina5 DID have game best speed.)
Heath (FE7) vs Alhazad (WA): Heath vs. Mage Boss.

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7): Hawkeye is against a Sword, so accuracy penalty! That, and magic nails his res.
Slash (CT) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA): Speed Difference, if nothing else.

If you are direct scaling Myria against Agni, Terra doesn't even need Drain except for very rare turns because Myria's damage will be quite bad.

Yeah, but if you do that, you should probably hold Call Team/summon/etc. HP against bosses from those games (at least in part), and nobody seems to do that.

Call Team is temporary, and FFX bosses can actually kill summons (Granted...Seymour's damage actually improves against summons, perhaps!). Myria...well, you have to have Agni for her to unlock that form, and then she might 25HKO or something?

Nah, 15HKO. <.<

Yes, bosses can kill FFX summons (though you can keep summoning more...) and Call Team doesn't last the whole battle (... well, not always) but that shouldn't mean you factor in one entirely and one not at all.

(Tangentially, yeah, if you don't allow focussing normally, then summons give Seymour more damage! ... except the Magus Sisters who give him much less.)

Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs) - Myria1 nerfed the way I've always nerfed her.  Doesn't like drain.

Light:
Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7) - Hawkeye smash... er miss.

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA) - Ghaleon...I think.  Multiple hits do break and go through Chaos Shield...but does Ghaleon still win?  Quite possible.

Ghaleon (Lunars) vs Van Grants (TotA) - Who's surprised?
Terra Branford (FF6) vs Myria (BoFs) - It was a good run, Terra.

Heavy:

Hugo (S3) vs Kornell (G3) - Kornell sucks.
Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) vs Percival Fraulein (S3) - Still wanted Lyn to have won.

Middle:

Nina (BoF5) vs Colm (FE8) - ID whoring > Middle, as usual.
Heath (FE7) vs Alhazad (WA) - Status > FE

Light:

Camus (S2) vs Hawkeye (FE7) - Criticals before Camus.
Slash (CT) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA) - Jewel of Lorelei. Unique. I allow postgame stuff if it's unique, I can't see why I shouldn't allow pre-endgame equips if they're unique.
