Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World vs. Reach Out to the Truth - Not vocalised Persona.
Sky Gate vs. Battlefield of Steel - Both pretty good. Vocals take it.
Cradle of the Ivory Moon vs. When the Northern Sky is Clear - Cradle is fairly beautiful. The only good music in Chronicles is the vocal track and the track from when you're collecting myrrh, and this isn't either.
Shin Onigashima vs. Nightless City Guara Bobelo - Neither deserve to continue. But at least Shin isn't noir casino music.
Idola the Fanatic Viper vs. Rakuge - Viper is surprisingly good, considering. Rakuge had the makings of a good track but it stays far too aloof, for lack of a better term. Wouldn't mind either of these going on.
Confiant vs. Theme of Arcueid - ...'Confiant' barely exists. I don't care much for Arcueid but at least it has some meat on it.
Mysterious People vs. Bridge of Jade - Both great. I'm happy either way.
Overture vs. Bombing Mission - Bombing is semi-medleyish, but not in a particularly good way. Only the opening part is any good and it's less than half the track. Still beats meh FF8.
FAILURE BRACKET
Waterfall vs. Critical Hit - These are both fairly nice. Silly nommers. Going with Critical here because it's not stupidly long.
ANIME
Cruel Angel's Thesis vs. Shangri-La - Oh. Boy. Matchup of atrociousness. Evangelion versus horrific singing. I guess I can pretend I'm listening to the Shimokawa version of Thesis at least.
