Thobari is meant to be that way, a naive delusional hypocrite. Just watch when Miharu finally got fed up with him.

Nabari no Ou- Read ch.47..... yaoi meter explodes. Miharu and Yoite just goes love love and love. What? Yoite not a guy? But not a women either, so who cares. Though, Yoite is sooo going to live unless some other twist happens. Yaoi aside, Yoite not dying would be a lot less entertaining.

So, this is CLAMP?

No, comparing Nabari to CLAMP is insulting.

You described pansexual fanservice pandering and what sounds like plenty of yaoi-bait. Certainly sounds like CLAMP. >_>

Thanks, fellas.  Was aware of Gravitation, but not the other one.
Rocky: you do know what an A-bomb is, right?
Bullwinkle: A-bomb is what some people call our show!
Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

Druaga: Is getting srs now. I'm bracing for the impact of the shitty typical GONZO-ified ending. However I'm still interested in the alt ep1 that aired on GyaO ages ago!

Geass R2: Schneizel isn't getting married to ChinaLoli? Thank fuck.

Macross F: All of Sheryl's songs suck. Epic re-use of Macross Zero footage on ep 10.

Super Zugan: A surprisingly beautiful ending to a generally wacky series. To know that the one who conceptualized this is a very good mahjong player in the professional league, that is quite remarkable.

There's some group that, slowly but surely, is putting the GONZO Subs to the HQ Raws. TokyoTosho as usual for the goods. :b

I think I only watch Druaga and Code Geass this "season"... The latter which brought me here.

Druaga is just good fun. Roper dance~!

Justin Sevakis put it up as a Buried Treasure a few weeks ago. Of course, people just bitched because it came out a few years ago. We figured it'd happen, but people still suck. (I also think he did subtitling work on the show)

In Geass R2 09, Lloyd introduces Canon to Milly and calls him, "Schneizel's (close) associate/right hand man" etc.

Canon follows this up by saying, "in both public and private ;D".

...then he says he was joking. ;(

But anyway, I came. :v

Up to Ep 9 on Nabari- Show just got better. Somehow, Miharu telling Thobari off like that made total sense and I actually gained respect for him as a character. I also love shows with this kind of dynamic between the villains. Raimei is alright, Gau fails. Kazuho... I find myself oddly attracted to. Never noticed how funky Yukimi's pupils were. Hopefully we're not being set up for failure eye techniques >.>

Hayate no Gotoku- Up to 44, but had to comment. There comes a point when you just want the references to stop. At first, they were endearing, especially the consistant Gunbuster ones and the appearance of Coach. Nabeshin from Excel's guest starring an ep was sort of alright. But... the latest episode had Yoko, Nia, Meru-Meru, Eruru and a whole bunch of other characters (with no alterations to their design) working in an animation studio. You have a cast of good characters, you don't need to borrow others! Yes, I get that it's sort of the point of the show, but it crosses the line. <3 Maria. Fisherman Maid FTW.

Baccano: watched it in about a day, at the elusive Rat's suggestion.  It's really good and only thirteen episodes (well, plus three extras which wrap things up s'more).  People should watch it.

It's tricky to discuss it at all, but I will say that a large amount of the show takes place on a train going across the country to New York in 1931.  There is a good amount of humor, both dark and light, and the cast is pretty impressive and memorable in general.  There's definitely violence, and if you're especially sensitive to gore you might want to steer clear, but it's not too gratuitous; I'm not a fan of gory stuff much myself, but what's there wasn't a dealbreaker for me.  Basically, it's real good -- I didn't want it to be over, and even when it was, I just started right back up with some earlier episodes to help me piece everything together in retrospect.  It's been a decent amount of time since any anime was compelling for me in the same way.

For Baccano, I just want to say... read the novel. Aniem does not do the novel enough justice.

The other side of other side- Got the final volume... It hurts so much. It is just too.... bitter. Already know the ending wouldn't be a happy one, and it really isn't a bad end either.... just...... nothing is resolved for Futaba, nor they can be resolved at all. Welit.... that really is the best can be done for him, and Futaba is really an onichan now, despite still fail to recall his memory. But then, consider Futaba never knew Welit died, failing to remember at all might just be better for him. Kiara finally withered in the end is expected, but we can't see Futaba's face in the epilogue when Kiara fainlyl scattered, I really want to see his expression..... Maybe the ending is better off without that epilogue, it makes everything felt much darker than it is, and one would wonder hwo can just three pages do so much.
Gah, I feel liek cryign now.
