Kaguya turned back around to face the group. "Sorry, what were we talking about?"

Yukari called her shikigami over. "Ran, come here for a moment. I want you to hold my parasol while I punch the Lunarian in the face."

"Yes, Miss Yukari."

Ignoring the protests of "What? That's not fair!", Ran reached out to take the parason from her mistress' hand - and several spellcards fell out of sleeve.

Amid the silence, Yukari glanced down at one briefly before looking back up. "Ran, why do I see Border of Human and Youkai on the ground?"

Ran looked away rather than responding, keeping her face the same stoic stare it usually was.

"Very well. Come with me, we are going to have a brief talk away from the public." Yukari turned around to open a portal to God only knows where. Seizing her chance, Ran jumped at her mistress and reared a claw back to swipe, only to have Yukari grab her wrist without even turning around. The shocked look on Ran's face was the last anyone saw before Yukari dragged her through the portal.

A minute later, Yukari returned alone. "Sorry for the delay. Ran is currently in a time-out to think about what she's done. From what I gathered, though, she doesn't appear to be working alone, so I suppose our work here is not finished."

It is now Day 4, and Sir Alex/Ran, playing Ran Yakumo (Vengeful Thug, SCUM-ALIGNED) was killed overnight!

Hold up, hold up, first things come first.  Nitori wasn't scum!  That means either Cor is scum or there's a night 1 scum NK completely unaccounted for.  I actually think Cor looks pretty good to me in general, but unless I get some accounting for that missing NK, I'm going to be forced to consider him a prime suspect.

Now that that's out of the way, woo!  I have no idea how it happened, but we avoided an NK and hit scum instead.  Time to go take another, closer look at Alex's posts up to this point.

Well, that night rather makes up for the trainwreck of a day. I can deal with that. The mod is still evil ("MAD SCIENTIST? !#!@$#!%@#%!%!#$% you.), but at least we're not hurting as badly anymore.

Well! Nitori not being scum was :psyduck:y. Though it makes sense, thinking of it. A docbusting kill(which was his actual ability, most likely) wouldn't trigger Andycal immunity based on what is known, after all. This would also clear Corwin as town doc, I think? OR there's the case where Nitori's power was nothing at all, but...it seems less likely, with the Mad Scientist moniker, to me. Want to see Watcher results.

Also, I'm so very glad that at least one of my hunches was correct, that being Alex being awfully scummy. Mm. Now to review day 3 by reading it over, I suppose.

Well, unless I'm misreading Otter he's talking about the first night, when Tom died with just Nitori and Corwin visiting him. If they were both town then the scum must have gone after somebody else, and that somebody else has had a good long time in which to speak up. Especially if they're bulletproof, since that trick only works once - it's not like the scum are going to try again on a kill-immune townie just for kicks.

I was trying to watch Corwin, but was roleblocked.  I was half hoping Corwin and others would talk before I reveal this, just in case there was something they'd incriminate themselves by, but there's enough talk now that it doesn't matter much.

I was actually expecting one of the two scenarios last night:

1) Scum kill me
2) Scum kill Tai

So, one happened but failed, the other kind of happened.  Mmm...there might be fewer scum here than I thought originally.  Still not sure why Alex died, but...mmm...  But we'll have to see.  I really can't organize my thoughts at the moment, so I'll see if I can drug myself to sleep (what?  It's just Benadryl >_>).

Also, I spent a hell of a long time deciding on who I wanted to watch last night, and after deciding, I got roleblocked anyway.  I am a sad dolly girl ;_;

Well, I don't know about Corwin, but I know one person who was protecting Tai last night. Which would be me, a oneshot bodyguard. I sat on that and didn't use it nights 1 and 2, but with a confirmed townie in the mix on night 3, I figured this was as good a time as any to throw it down. And now that my 1 shot is gone, there's no sense in not claiming.

So, yeah, there it is. Now I didn't get any information on whether or not my guard was successful, but with Tai being informed a kill was blocked I can only suppose it was. And with dead scum instead of dead town, I guess I could have even been a oneshot elite bodyguard and Alex tried to make the kill. That would be news to me, but I guess it fits the evidence.
