I'd support the Killer, definitely. Kunino, Ameno and Izanami are things I'd have to ponder, Kunino being the one I'm least likely to support due to split personality problems.

EDIT: And, while Mitsuo the Hero is fun and all, I'd probably not support him.

Ameno and Izanami are pretty low on the ranking totem pole to me, as they completely play against the game's plot strengths, and it's playing to the plot strength that really gives the killer so much rankability to me. Kunino is better to me, though.

I will generally support any and all bosses who get put up for ranking, which includes: The PC Shadows, 8 Bit Killer, Kunino-Sagiri, Actual Killer, Ameno-Sagiri and Inazami.

Competent duelists are a good thing and some fresh godlikes are always a good deal, so I'll definitely throw full weight behind the big guns. The others I would like to see for a variety of reasons, but I won't pressure people about it. Don't think I buy any major plot issues, but if someone wants to try and convince me, feel free.

As for Fetus...plot-wise, I'm against him, so...no. Margaret is a better rank, plot-wise, than him, I think, unless we want to rank all the Shadows.

My main thing with including Mitsuo/8-Bit Hero is that he never actually gets perma-rid of his Shadow, and thus I'd consider it practical to fight him. The Shadows of the rest of the characters were turned into their Personas, and thus the forms viable for them are their PC ones.

He's also plot-wise the first person the cast suspects, and thus perhaps all the more notable for it. So... eh. I'd find it more appealing to rank him than Ameno/Izanami.

No: Misuto (Form's kind of a headache, I have plot issues there too), Namatame
Abstain for now: Ameno. I'm really not sure about it due to the plot stuff I mentioned before.

Inevitably depends on who you ask because she's very reliant on your levels and your general HP scaling. Off my scaling and assumed levels, she's actually not -too- bad: first form is OHKOed by everything, then the three turns can get handled by Godlike healer PCs, and her second form is also not special for durability (something like 1.2x effective PC HP for me. That's about Melfice-level durability), although the spoiling is solid. Basically a spin on Jenna whose guaranteed damage is lower and more spread out, and she isn't nearly as dangerous to dick around with because her first form only really slugfests, so buffing isn't a bad idea.

If your HP respect is high enough and your levels are low enough, though, she turns Bluelike. Weird little conundrum.

Yes, I do (she and the aftergame bosses are the only things I take HT against, though). That and buffs (auto-Mataru exists by this point, and I hold Ameno to Auto-Mataru as well). Although, even if I didn't, Iz1 probably is PC HP at best under my scaling? Brave Blade or Primal Force on Yoshitsune do make for fine substitutes, even if notably weaker. Granted, Iz2 suddenly turns reasonably durable.

Holding buffs/tweaking whatever? Fine. HT I disagree with, along with the super hidden skills. Tower is not something you are likely to have leveled S-link wise, and it's the very last skill on an very endgame persona. I can't take scaling bosses against that seriously.

It requires knowledge ahead of time, but isn't hard at all if you have that knowledge.

Also, things like Auto-Kajas don't reset between those battles? Plotwise it doesn't seem like they'd be fully-linked.

I'd find the issues with the Tower S. Link more pressing if I didn't get it to L8 in spite of unlocking it in December, which honestly makes me think it's not unreasonable to take. And I do take bosses against higher than average knowledge of the game in general, so I consider it reasonable enough, if harsh.

Mind, seeing otherwise is just as reasonable, your points aren't less valid.

Tower's also at night when you don't have all that much else to do at endgame. Easy to rank up.

Getting the skill is also not hard. Slap on a Growth skill and fuse on an EXP day and you win. In fact, I think only one of those would be enough. And you should be putting Growth on everything you can anyway.

Being hidden? Sure, but it's not stupidly obscure. One look into an FAQ would tell you it exists. Not to mention the stat topic!

Except some of us don't want to know everything about a game in advance and don't follow FAQs.

Anyway, since it was asked, Izanami seems like a solid godlike to me. Pretty much with the aiel here, OHKO-bait doesn't jive with any interpretation I'd subscribe to.

You can say this for mostly basically every game though. As Tal mentioned, you know an S-Link is missing, you've probably looked at the job board and know there is a tutoring position...etc. There are certainly times when hyper obscurity is a reasonable claim, but that certainly doesn't feel like the case here. The thing is, just because you have Tower doesn't mean that you know that any particular Tower Persona is going to be any better than any other arcanum of Persona. Especially since this is a move that is noticably off the damage curve, and involves getting to the highest level skill of a high level Persona that you aren't guaranteed to have. Especially if you are, like myself or El Cid, someone who doesn't like playing with foreknowledge of the game.

So, yes. Scaling bosses to what someone would have with a reasonable amount of twinking is fine. But HT seems like something which is more FAQ-bait than reasonable.

I just take them against what I had, which means auto-mataru and amps but no yoshitsune for izanami, and none of those for ameno.

Izanami's champ caliber godlike but not quite bluelike, kinda like souji. Ameno's probably better at fighting bosses than anyone we have ranked but really hates that I let PC's defend.
