To do: Boss data.

Stats:

HP = The damage number shown when an enemy hits you with a 100% Gravity attack.
Str = Affects physical offense and defense.
Mgc = Affects magical offense and defense.
Agl = Affects speed, also doubles as the direct evade%.
Vit = Affects defense.
Grd = Blocking rate. Only applied for a limited time by certain items
WT = Wait, actual speed derived from item base wait and character agility. The more the wait on the item, the longer you have to wait for your next turn.

Elemental resistances:

There are 6 elements in Riviera: "Physical", which acts as non-elemental and is referred to from here on as non-elemental(magic attacks can be of this type, and only non-elemental physical attacks are of this type), Fire, Ice, Lightning, Holy and Dark. PCs do not have a resistance score to Holy, as no enemies use Holy, and vice versa with Dark for enemies. Higher = better, 0 is neutral.

Bonus damage to enemy types:

This is handled by lowering enemy's resistance to the element the attack is. For example, Stardust on a lightning-immune flying enemy would deal 75% of its normal damage (immunity + 75% bonus damage).

Status effects:

STONE: Can't act. Increase non-elemental res by 90 and all other Elemental Resistances by 50.
SLEEP: Can't act. Removed after any attack.
HEAT: Caps all Elemental Resistances of the target to a maximum of 0. Weaknesses are left untouched.
FREEZE: Can't act. Decreases fire res by 50, increases ice res by 100. 32% chance it'll be removed after any attack.
DAZZLE: Halves Accuracy and Evade, can't block attacks.
POISON: Lose 16% of your max HP at the start of your turn.
PURIFY: Halves your STR and MGC.

Overskills:

The overskill bar consists of 3 levels (total of 384 points, with OS levels gotten at 128/256/384). Each overskill uses up an amount of points according to its level. ExL, Ein's special overskill, can be used at any time, and the effect depends on your current OS bar level. It shatters the bar, so you can't use any overskills after that(IOWs, should be used as a finisher). You gain points to the bar whenever you attack or get attacked, the amount depending on amount of hits.

However you treat the gain from being attacked in the DL is up to you. I think I'll go with standard attacks using the "attack" gain rate, techs using the "Rage" gain rate, and speshul things like Limit Breaks using the "Break Out" gain rate.

Stuff:

Characters can use 4 items in battle. I'm being lenient on items here, technically everything (except Einherjar) in this game is breakable and non-storebought, but that would make for an incredibly dull cast, so invoking the FE lord weapons clause here. Most items are in plentiful supply anyway. I'm allowing anything the character has an overskill with, as well as items the character has an unique tech with. (Exception: Fanelia and Longinus. Those are aftergame.) If there's an item that's limited but several characters want to use for their unique techs, I split the amount of uses. Finally, character stats are the maximums you can gain during a normal playthrough. I don't list all DL-legal items, just the most useful ones.

Comments: Plenty of nice options. Lullaby Whip is just a brutal duelling move, she gets several other statuses with L1 OS (Freeze is as good as death), healing/draining, and a L3 that destroys things. Durable, too. Her downfall is the speed. Hmm...Middle/Heavy seems to fit.

Because the Vice President is LAZY and NOT FULFILLING HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES, I have provided the best and most important part of any stat topic for any RPG ever - bosses!

Anyone who's played Riviera knows exactly how the bosses in this game work.  Riviera features a mechanic called practicing that allows the player to easily maximize their stats.  For the sake of balance, I have assumed the following stats for each boss:

Ledah at 50% maximum (760 HP, 15 AGI, 300 damage)
Malice at 60% maximum (910 HP, 17 AGI, 450 damage)
Hector/Seth-Rah at 70% maximum (1060 HP, 18 AGI, 650 damage)

Damages are assumed to be taken against average resistances to both elements and status, taken from the Great Vice President's notes above.  As such, damages will be higher vs. those without resistances.  

For speed of bosses, it varies depending on the WT of the attack, which is then subtracted by the user's AGI stat.  Bosses and PCs begin with some randomized WT at the start of battle, typically around 6-12 WT, after which, it is entirely based on the attacks used.

Bosses follow the same Overskill Bar rules that the PCs use, with the exception that it's split in to 2 sections (split at 192 points) - regular and Rage (with a full bar being maxed).  Bosses cannot use their Rage attack unless the bar is filled to the Rage category.  Special skills (like Angel's Awakening) can be used at any time.  However, in terms of AI notes, if a boss has a maxed bar, they will always use their Breakout.

Seth-Rah is listed, as he/she/it may be considered an alternate form for Hector.  Both have their uses.
