(By PD or Zenny or something)
Earthbound Stats topic, by Pipe Dreamer.
Damage numbers by Moi (Zenthor)

PD's post:

Yep. Ness is taken at level 85, Paula and Jeff at 75, and Poo at 70. If you've finished the game, you'll know why Ness has such a big advantage. I do not allow the 1/128 items, especially the Gutsy Bat since it's both a rare drop and a rare encounter.

EarthBound has two battle-system features that may be controversial when converting to the RPGP. First is the rolling HP meter, which means that when the character takes damage his HP meter will not drop instaneously but will "roll" back to the remaining amount. This means that if you're fast enough, you could have a character cast a healing spell on someone who's taken mortal damage and heal him to safety before his HP rolls to zero. This I do not consider in the RPGP, as it makes Ness near-unkillable as long as he has PP. The second is that when a character does hit 0 HP, there is a chance that he does not fall and simply keeps fighting. This I do consider, although you may disagree.

Ness, Paula, and Jeff are protected from Freeze, Fire, and Flash via their Earth Pendants. According to Meeple, this means they take 50% from Freeze and Fire. Protection from Flash is also open to interpretation, but I don't believe it should count as full status nullification; instead in my opinion it simply protects against attacks like Grand Cross (or perhaps also Dark Force II's status effects). If you think that this makes the Earth Pendant an illegal accessory, the three should opt for the Night Pendant, which only protects against Flash and offers 1 point of defense lower than the Earth Pendant. They can also opt for the Travel Charm, which results in a loss of 16 defense but gives protection to paralysis.

Explanation of the stats, as usual:

HP: if you don't know, you don't deserve to be here.
PP: psychic points, the equivelant of MP.
Offense: physical offense.
Defense: physical defense.
Speed: typical RPG speed.
Guts: determines critical hit rate. Also determines the probability of the character getting re-raised after reaching 0 HP.
Luck: determines target-end evade. There are two things that trigger misses in EB: either the attacker missed (the rate of which depends on his weapon) or the target dodged (the rate of which depends on his Luck).

Not listed are Vitality and IQ, which determine HP and MP growth respectively and have no in-battle function.

The status effects (at least, the relevant ones; I didn't include stuff like heatstroke and homesickness):

Sleep: typical RPG sleep. Wears off after a few rounds and can be awakened (but not always) by taking damage.
Freeze: victim is frozen for one round, during which he can't use physical attacks. Nigh-useless.
Paralysis: same as Freeze, except it doesn't wear off.
Unable to Concentrate: same as Mute in a typical RPG.
Uncontrollable Crying: same as Blind in a typical RPG.
Feeling Strange: victim can select attacks as usual, but the attack may hit either him or the enemy.
Diamondization: same as Stone in a typical RPG.

So let the stats begin:

Ness

Legendary Bat
Earth Pendant
Diamond Band
Shiny Coin

HP 785

PSI Flash Omega: can inflict any status listed above, but not simultaneously. Below 50% chance of actually doing something. 32 PP
Hypnosis Alpha: inflicts Sleep. High chance of working, around 80%. 6 PP

Ness reflects Lightning thanks to his plot-given Franklin Badge.

Paula

Holy Fry Pan
Earth Pendant
Diamond Band
Saturn Ribbon

HP 273
PP 262
Offense 168
Defense 179
Speed 61

Paula also starts with a Teddy Bear. The Teddy Bear takes all damage for Paula until it "dies", basically giving her an extra 100 HP. I don't allow it, personally.

Zenthor's Post:

Hm. Well, here are my tests. Damages noted with an Asterisk should be taken with a grain of salt, since I remember them doing so much more. (Note: I think I figured out the mystery of Paula's Freeze Omega. The reason that I remember her dealing 700+ damage is because she was hitting a weakness. Though, if this isn't true, and she should be dealing 700+ damage to non ice weak enemies, my game might be messed up). All damages were gotten from Final Starmen or Giygas' Third (plot) form. The default will be Giygas, since he can't die via normal damage. If, however, something continuously misses against that form (*Cough Multi Bottle Rockets Cough*), Final Starmen will be used (as far as I can tell, the damages they take seem to be close to the same.

Status (Flash, Brainshock) chances were taken from enemies in the Deep Darkness, and Onett revisited.

A note about the Earth Pendant: It seems to also protect against Brainshock effects. Every time Evil Eyes used it on my in Onett Revisited, it failed on everyone except for Poo, who always got hit. Not sure about hypnosis or Paralysis, though.

Well, my stats are just slightly lower than Pipe Dreamers; understandable, since I'm 6 levels lower. Though, really, this post isn't for the stats, since PD was right on with them, but more for Damage Outputs, and Status Chances.

Ness
Level 79

Equipment
Legendary Bat
Earth Pendant (Crystal Charm)
Diamond Band
Shiny Coin

HP 765
PP 570
Offense 251
Defense 176 (162)
Speed 53 (68)
Guts 71
Vitality 51
IQ 57
Luck 98

With the Crystal Charm, he loses his Rando Status + Confusion (and maybe sleep and Paralysis) immunity, plus his Fire and Ice resistances, but gains some speed).

Skills:
Physical Attack-250-350 Damage
SMAAAAAASH Physical-750-890 Damage
Special Omega(98PP)-690-850 Damage
Lifeup Gamma (13PP)-Full Healing
Flash Omega (32PP)-(Chances coming soon)
Hypnosis Alpha (6PP)-(Chances coming Soon)
Paralysis Alpha (8PP)-(Chances comnig Soon)
Shield Beta (10PP)-Halves all Physical Damage, reflects damage back at attacker. Lasts 3 Blows

Unlike Flash, Hypnosis and Paralysis don't have increased chances in their Omega forms, they just become multi target. Ness has about a 20% chance of hitting a Smash.

Paula
Level 65

Holy Fry Pan
Earth Pendant (Crystal Charm)
Diamond Band
Saturn Ribbon

HP 225
PP 231
Offense 158
Defense 177 (163)
Speed 53 (68)
Guts 44
Vitality 14
IQ 46
Luck 73

Skills:
Physical Attack-140-150 damage
*Freeze Omega (28PP)-260-540 Damage
Shield Beta Version 2 (14PP) - Reflect, basically
Offense Up Alpha (10PP)-Raises offense by 11 points for rest of battle. Stackable
Defense Down Alpha (6 PP)-Decreases enemy defense by 10-15 points for rest of battle. Stackable

Jeff
Level 65

Moon Beam Gun
Earth Pendant (Crystal Charm)
Diamond Band
Shiny Coin

HP 318
PP 000
Offense 177
Defense 177 (163)
Speed 33 (47)
Guts 34
Vitality 21
IQ 61
Luck 57

Skills:
Physical Attack-140-150 damage
Multi Bottle Rocket (OBP or 7PB, depending on interpretation)-~800-1000 damage
Heavy Bazooka-260-270 Damage
Defense Shower-Raises Defense by 10-15 points
Shield Killer - Kills all shields on the enemy, 75% hit rate
Hungry HP Sucker - Drains about 30 HP from all enemies.

Poo
Level 64

(Nothing)
Cloak of Kings
Bracer of Kings
Diadem of Kins

HP 450
PP 140
Offense 135
Defense 188
Speed 88
Guts 21
Vitality-27
IQ-28
Luck- 86

Skills
Physical Attack-70-90 damage.
Starstorm Omega (42 PP)-750-900 damage.
Lifeup Gamma (13 PP)-Full Healing
Healing Gamma (20 PP)-Cures all status abnormalities
Shield Beta (PP10)-Same as Ness'
Brainshock Alpha (10PP)- (coming soon) % chance of Confusion

The reason I didn't give averages for anyone is because that was the range that all the attacks happened in, most of them happening at the far reaches of those ranges.

Well, I'll just do a max damage list/average, since PD got the others already.

Max Damage
1. Jeff (Multi Bottle Rocket-~800-1000 damage)
2. Poo (Starstorm Omega (42 PP)-750-900 damage.)
2. Ness (SMAAAAAASH Physical-750-890 Damage/Special Omega(98PP)-690-850 Damage)
3. Paula (Freeze Omega (28PP)-260-540 Damage)
(4. Jeff (Heavy Bazooka 260-270 Damage)

I listed the Heavy Bazooka damage just in case you only allow Jeff 1 Multi Bottle Rocket)

Well, by these damages alone, Ness remains Godlike, Poo becomes a higher heavy, Paula gets knocked down from Middle to Light (unless my Freeze Omega damage is wrong, which, again, it might be... seriously, I don't remember it being that low), and Jeff either remains Heavy if you allow more than one MBR, or goes to middle (he has shit durability, though not Paula bad) if you only allow him one.
...into the nightfall.

PSI Flash Hit %:
Like DWIV, status resistance for enemies is based on area, 90% of the time. So, I'm taking the status chances from Scarabia, which I consider around mid game, and the Underworld. Anything in other areas is immune, or dies automatically when I initiate a battle.

Combined, this was the total:
2/20 Confuse,
14/20 Death,
2/20 Blind
2/20 Miss

Funnily enough, enemies were more susceptible to Flash Omega in the Underworld than around Scarabia (I had a 0/10 for the underworld, whereas I had a 2/10 for Scarabia).

So, Ness has slightly less than a 75% chance to ID with Flash Omega. Fairly good.

Throwing a punch: 16
Tearing into you: 28

Averages:
HP: 60
Damage: 24

Comments: Doesn't he have a barril head? Frankie is freaking badass. His robot isn't a rude bastard like another bot you all know about. Sadly, he's also weaker, with even worse speed due to the steam thing. Light.

Titanic Ant
HP: 234
Reduces damage by 10
Faster than everyone.
Takes 50% from fire and ice, resists flash

Biting Attack: 24. Rarely does 40 damage. (not a crit)

Average HP: 92
Average damage: 33 (70 with Psi Rockin Alpha)

Comments: Nobody knows who you aaaaare! Woof woof woof woof. The mad road blocking skills don't prove to be too useful, but at least Strong can lose his temper a few times to own Mint. The "better cops than Aya" go in light.

Everdred
HP: 170
Average defense
Faster than Ness
40% evade
85% accuracy

Steal in the confusion of the battle: Attempts to steal an item. I think one random item from the inventory is selected, it doesn't work if the item is important or equipped, and it's 100% otherwise.
Biting Attack: 29
Attack: 30
Knitting his brow: Usable at low HPs (!)
Having a big grin on his face: Scary.

Average HP: 106
Average damage: 40 with physical, 70 with Psi Rockin Alpha.

Comments: Mass evade + Steal! You really don't have to rely on items or you're toast! How are you going to survive without that ketchup? Crime leaders don't really get any better. Knitting brows also cancels Auron's Threaten. Light but triplechamp material.

Offense Up Alpha: Raises offense by 2. (Raises his damage by 10)

Faces Ness and Paula
Average HP: 122
Average damage: 99

Comments: 2HKO gets the lesser mole to Middle. The bad speed keeps him from being too good. That's it! Nothing particular to say!

Takes 200% from fire, 50% from ice.
Faster than Jeff, slower than Ness and Paula

Spewing Fly Honey out of his mouth: 1 turn stun.

Faster than Ness, slower than Paula and Jeff

Burping and blewing his nauseous breath at you: Inflicts nausea, 100%. This seems to lower accuracy, and drain 20 damage per turn.

Losing his mind while wolfing down "Fly Honey": Does nothing

Average HP: 148
Average damage: 131

Comments: He has infinite HPs at first, but if you use Fly Honey he gets 650 Hps and is forced to lose his mind every turn. Something tells me he isn't really rankable.

Average HP: 172
Average damage: 154

Comments: The third strongest mole among all of those is a middle! The world is saved. They do die to a sneeze, but otherwise rock. High 2HKO, high speed, massively antiphysical. Do not underestimate the power of being third.

Department Store Spook
HP: 610
Slightly below average speed
Reduces physical damage by 60

Psi Magnet Omega: Drains 5 PPs

He fights only Ness and Jeff
Average HP: 215

Comments: Quite the average damage boost since the moles, eh? The new storebought Big Bottle Rockets define shiny. This guy's offense is downright scary, but nothing can save that durability. Light.

Emitting a glorious light: ID, MT. 40%

It fights only Ness and Jeff
Average HP: 243
Average damage: 345

Comments: Well what did you expect, it's a statue. EVIL statue, but still. Light. At least it spoils SO3 thanks to MP busting!!

Clumsy Robot
HP: 962
Reduces physical damage by 30
Faster than everyone
Begins battle with Psi Shield Alpha (Nulls 3 shots of magic) cast
Immune to bottle rockets
40% evade

Re-applying a bandage: Does nothing

Losing a gear and some bolts: Does nothing
Stumbling, but firing a strange beam: One turn freeze. 70%
Cleaning the area: Does nothing
Being wobbly: ...Uh yeah
Wanting to go and get a battery: Still nothing.
Eating a bologne sandwich: Full healing. Useless (read below)

He's unusual in that he gets a plot death after losing 962 HPs, regardless of bologne sandwiches.

He only fights Jeff and Ness
Average HP: 244
Average damage: 365

Comments: Uh... Thanks to the bottle rocket nulling, the damage you do to him in game is a lot lower than it seems according to the average damage here, take that as you will. In any case, Godlike. That damage and magic is halving is too good, regardless of durability woes.

Shrooom!

Scatterring some spores: Inflicts mushroom or poison. 100%

Disrupting your senses: I don't know. It never works.
Bashing you: 90

Mushroom is kind of like confusion, the shrooomed character has a 50% chance to attack someone in the team with the attack selected instead of the enemy. Unlike confusion, you always know what you're going to use, just not who's going to be hit. Poison just makes the character lose 20 HPs per turn.

He fights Ness, Jeff and Paula
Average HP: 226
Average damage: 318

Comments: One of the few bosses noteworthy enough to have a ! in his name. That's something. In a duel, Shrooom! statuses until mushroom hits (really wishing it hits before poison), then bashes a few times. There really are better strategies, but hey. Light/Middle.

Plague rat of doom
HP: 1827
Reduces physical damage by 80
Slightly below average speed
Takes 150% damage from fire

Taking a bite using its poisonous fangs: 15 damage + 80% Poison
Attack: 15. 80% chance of critical for a 160 damage.
Having a big grin on his face: EB loves those.

He fights the 4 PCs.
Average HP: 255
AVerage damage: 285

Comments: Plague rat.... of doom! Um... 2HKO, but the durability and speed really aren't too hot, and this 2HKO really isn't reliable. Light Middle.

Thunder and Storm
HP: 2065
Reduces physical damage by 60
Below average speed
Takes 150% damage from fire and ice

Attack: 60
Crashing Boom Bang Attack: 2 unfocused hits for 140 damage, lightning
Taking deep breath for the next assault: Charging for Rush
Rushing in, and intertwining with you: 310, needs to be used after taking a deep breath
Summoning a storm: Inflicts statuses, MT. Can be crying incontrollably (biggest chance), feeling numb, feeling strange, and ID, 90%

Average HP: 262
Average damage: 303

Comments: OHKO! But, um, charging move, and with that durability... Its best bet is spamming statuses until ID hits, which only really scares fighters. Light/Middle.

Kraken
HP: 1097
Reduces physical damage by 60
Slightly below average speed

Crashing Boom Bang Attack: 2 unfocused hits for 125 damage, lightning
Breathing Fire: 250, MT, fire
Generating a tornado: 150, MT
Emitting a pale green light: Dispel, affects everyone
Psi Flash Beta: Inflicts one status, MT. 90% Can be crying incontrollably (biggest chance), feeling numb, feeling strange, and ID.

Average HP: 275
Average damage: 305

Comments: Awesome character design! Like most bosses in this game, it 2HKO and has poor durability... Really, really awful durability, though. Probably Light. Blah.

Guardian General
HP: 831
Reduces physical damage by 100
Slower than everyone
80% accuracy
Takes 150% damage from fire

Attack: 90
Coming out swinging: 105
Charging forward: 200
Making something spin around: 6 PP bust
Shrieking a war cry: Target loses 8 power and 8 defense

Average HP: 281
Average damage: 300

Comments: Physical tank in game! Doesn't make him less auto battle bait, though. He's lucky he has that charge he never uses in game, but that doesn't save him from Light.

Master Barf
HP: 1319
Reduces physical damage by 30
Slower than everyone
Takes 150% damage from fire

Exhaling a blast of stinky breath: Inflicts Crying uncontrollably, MT, 100%
Starting a continuous attack: 2 hits of 120 damage each
Calling for help: Summons an Even slimier little pile. 50%
Burping and blowing nausaeous breath: Inflicts nausea, 100%

Even slimier little pile

HP: 326
Takes 45 more damage from physicals

Exhaling a blast of stinky breath: Inflicts Crying uncontrollably, MT, 100%
Calling for help: Summons an Even slimier little pile. 50%
Spitting out sticky mucus: 1 turn freeze? 0% accuracy.
Attack: 50

Average HP: 309
Average damage: 700

Comments: Multi Bottle rocket OHKO the loser, and he has pathetic speed. Mwahah. Light.

Starman Deluxe
HP: 1400
Reduces physical damage by 30
Below average speed
Begins battle with Psi Shield Beta already cast
Takes 150% from fire

Firing a beam: 110
Calling for help: Summons a Starman Super, a Starman
Psi Shield Beta: Reflects three shots of magic
Psi Starstorm Alpha: 345, MT

Starman Super
HP: 565
Reduces damage by 20
Bad speed

Firing a beam: 65
Calling for help: Summons a Starman
Psi Shield Beta: Reflects three shots of magic
Healing Omega: Heals all statuses and revies. I doubt he can actually revive in game, though.

Starman
HP: 545
Takes 30 more damage from physicals
Bad speed

Firing a beam: 50
Psi Magnet Alpha: Steals 5 PPs
Using Sudden Guts Pill: Raises guts by 50.
Psi Shield Alpha: Nulls three shots of magic

Average HP: 339
Average damage: 717

Comments: *Shakes fist* I'd like to not underestimate them, but it's impossible. Multi bottle rockets will just ruin every boss from now on. Starman Deluxe... Well at least he OHKO, and is anti magical, enough for Middle. Woo.

Electro Specter
HP: 3092
Reduces physical damage by 70
Below average speed
Takes 150% damage from fire and ice
Begins battle with Psi Shield Beta cast (reflects three shots of magic)

Electrical shock attack: 2 unfocused hits of 135 damage, lightning
Using the hungry HP-sucker: Drains 40 HPs. 15% success rate
Using the neutralizer: Dispel, affects everyone
Using the shield killer: Destroys shields, MT

Average HP: 357
Average damage: 735

Comments: Get the Franklin Badge or you're toast! Or not. Another boss with cool design, 2HKO, anti magic stuff, but all that being just nothing with that durability and speed. Light.

Dog

Carbon Dog
HP: 1672. Turns into Diamond Dog after losing them
Average defense
Below average speed
Takes 10% damage from fire

Making a loud, piercing howl: Does nothing
Spewing out a flaming fireball: 310, fire
Biting attack: 130
Shooting out a spray of fire: 300, fire, MT
Charge Forward: 320

Diamond Dog
HP: 3344
Reduces physical damage by 60
Below average speed
Begins battle with Shield Beta cast. Works on the last attack used before the form changing

Emitting a glorious light: Inflicts one status, MT. Can be ID (most of the time) and crying incontrollably. 60%
Biting attack: 270
Shield Beta: Reflects half of the physical damage taken back, lasts for 3 physical attacks
Biting you hard: 160
Making a loud, piercing howl: Does nothing

Average HP: 381
Average damage: 743

Cmments: Durability?? Well, that's still not anywhere near good, sadly. And the speed is still unimpressive, and the physical reflect with low durability is useless since he takes the same damage anyway. Kogoro's better than this mutt, Light. Good Light though, unlike the last bosses.

Ness' Nightmare
HP: 1654
Takes 90 less damage from physicals
Slower than Ness
Begins battle with Psi Shield Beta already cast (Reflects three shots of magic)

Emitting a glorious light: Should inflict one status, but it just doesn't work. MT
Psi Rockin Alpha: 50, MT
Psi Rockin Omega: 585, MT
Lifeup Beta: Heals 290 HPs
Shield Beta: Reflects half of the physical damage taken back, lasts for 3 physical attacks. Cancels Psi Shield Beta

Ness' Nightmare fights Ness alone. Or with a flying man, but I didn't include one. (Getting one to survive that far is a challenge)
Average HP: 615
Average damage: 550

Comments: Enil?? First decent boss in a while. Having both kind of EB shields is nice, and Psi Rocking Omega hurts like hell. High middle! Unless you give him low credit because of the rolling HP thing, because spamming physicals takes care of him nicely even if he does use PSi Rocking Omega. Then Light.

Heavily Armed Pokey
HP: 2000
Takes 60 less damage from physicals
Slightly above average speed

Discharging a very stinky gas: Lowers offense, MT
Charging forward: 230
Tearing into you: 250

Comments: Sigh. While decent in game, Pokey falls apart in a duel. 2HKO off decent speed is nice, but the durability just isn't there. Light.

Giygas

Giygas 1
HP: Unlimited / Changes forms when Pokey is defeated
Reflects everything
Faster than Kai, slower than the rest

Psi Rockin Alpha: 70, MT
Psi Rockin Beta: 200, MT

Giygas 2
HP: 2000
Takes 60 less damage from physicals
Faster than Kai, slower than the rest
Immune to Multi bottle rockets

You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack!
Attack 1: 140, Fire, MT
Attack 2: 2 unfocused hits of 125 damage, Lightning
Attack 3: Inflicts statuses, MT. Can be crying incontrollably (biggest chance), feeling numb, feeling strange, and ID, 90%

Giygas 3

HP: Unlimited. Defeated by praying 9 times.
Faster than Kai, slower than the rest

Same attacks as Giygas 2

Average HP: 459
Average damage: 476 (Big Multi Bottle Rocket defense boost for everyone in the final)

Comments: If you allow Giygas 2... He's about the same thing as Pokey, but with status. That does probably push him to Middle, but we were still expecting more from the ultimate evil.
...into the nightfall.

I have to disagree. It's plot given, but not ONLY used on Ness. It can be given to ANY character.
Of course, this hurts his DL record but I want it to be accurate.

PS: Picky is god-like.  8-)

Its not the fact that its plot given so much that its forced into Ness' inventory at some point (let alone REQUIRED to beat a boss, which Ness fights solo), so it debatably falls under the "initial or plot forced equip" rule, despite not really being an equip.

By plot forced, mind, I mean the character is forcefully equipped with the item, no matter how brief.  A parallel to this would be Mario's Ghost Badge in the DL; yeah, its universal, but its given by forcefully being equipped on Mario, so people let him have it.
[21:39] <+Mega_Mettaur> so Snow...
[21:39] <+Mega_Mettaur> Sonic Chaos
[21:39] <+Hello-NewAgeHipsterDojimaDee> That's -brilliant-.

[17:02] <+Tengu_Man> Raven is a better comic relief PC than A

I see.

The opposite would in FF7 with the Shiva summon. Priscilla (sp?) gives it to Cloud, but it's not equipped into him.

EXTRA NOTES FROM STARMEN.NET:

All characters can opt for no arm equipment to obtain 100% Brainshock/Confuse/Feeling Strange resistance.  This resistance also kicks in if the character has no Hypnosis resistance anyway.

Poo's Bracer of Kings gives 90% Sleep Resistance, while lowering his Brainshock/Confuse/Feeling Strange resistance to 50%.

The Crystal Charm gives a 100% chance to resist Paralysis.

The Night Pendant gives a 100% chance to resist Flash, while the Fire and Rain pendants give a 95% resistance to Fire and Freeze, respectively.

The Diadem of Kings gives a 30% resistance to Fire and Freeze, and 50% resistances to Flash and Paralysis.

The Earth Pendant gives a 60% resistance to Fire and Freeze, and a 90% resistance to Flash.  Poo can equip this instead of his Cloak for a boost to 95% Fire/Freeze resistance, 100% Flash resistance, and still keep the 50% Paralysis resistance when combined with the Diadem of Kings.

Diamondization apparently uses the same resistance probability as Paralysis. The one exception is the "biting hard" (not sure what uses this) attack, which diamondizes the target with probability (80 - target's luck stat)/80 if the attack hits and doesn't SMAAASH!

Freeze has a 25% chance of solidifying the enemy, which is basically just a single turn skip.

Thunder actually has an accuracy of (# of enemies)/4 per shot, while being a random target spell.  In group battles where there's 4+ targets, it is random target, but each shot has 100% accuracy, even if a target dies in the middle of a casting.

Offense Up and Defense Down change a target's stat by 6.125% in the appropriate direction, maxing out at 25% from normal.  Defense Down actually checks a character's Luck stat, failing on a (Target's Luck/80)% basis.

Surviving with 1 HP happens on either a 5% chance or a (Guts/500)% chance, whichever is greater.  This, incidentally, mostly matters for no one, since a legal Ness only has about a 14% chance of this working.  The chance of a SMAAASH! attack also runs on this formula for the most part.

A standard bottle rocket will miss with probability (2*target's speed - Jeff's speed)%. If it hits, it will deal (120 +/- 25%) damage.
Big bottle rockets and Multi bottle rockets will try to hit 5 and 20 times respectively, with the same miss rate per hit. When they hit, they deal ((120*number of hits) +/- 25%) damage.

HP Suckers draw ~1/8 of a target's MaxHP, +/-50%.  The Hungry HP Sucker is merely an MT version of the normal HP Sucker.  This bypasses normal damage immunity, as it does not count as damage in and of itself.

The Teddy Bear (if you allow it for Paula) has ~100 HP and has only a 75% chance of drawing the attacks towards it instead of the intended member of the party.  There is no carryover (as in if there's only 10 HP left and it's dealt 500, Paula's still free from damage), but it does not block and still takes damage from MT skills.

Crying in EB just changes a character's accuracy to 7/16.

For each enemy it hits, Flash causes one of several effects, depending on which Flash you used.

Flash alpha
7/8: uncontrollable crying
1/8: feeling strange

Flash beta
5/8: uncontrollable crying
1/8: feeling strange
1/8: paralysis
1/8: instant death

Flash gamma
4/8: uncontrollable crying
1/8: feeling strange
1/8: paralysis
2/8: instant death

Flash Omega
3/8: uncontrollable crying
1/8: feeling strange
1/8: paralysis
3/8: instant death
