The only real thing I gleaned is that this game is as much of a trainwreck as described. And then some. This may well be one of the worst day 1's ever simply due to that. I agree with Tonfa, any better ideas of what to do here would be appreciated~

I don't understand exactly why scum would kill the winner if the winner was out of the game, but of course the rules are something I'm not clear on. Why would Shale and Nitori vote for Princess Zorro and then kill her, despite... her being eliminated from the running? Alex immediately goes into vote mode over the point of QR and Tonfa trying to find easy reasons for voting for the winner, and I think this is as valid as anything.

All in all I don't understand this really, was Rat going to be eliminated from voting/being voted on?

At this point, we can't do much other than start actual discussion. First day was fun absurdity and all, but in the end, all we have is the voting we did amongst ourselves, which, even with scum in tow, seems highly unlikely to have been very productive. And, quite frankly? The scum probably was at least mildly aware that they'd have relatively little say on the outcome of the recommendation process - even if all of us voted on the polls alongside the recommendation process, there were 11 non-princess votes. Which... well, yeah, I actually think we may start looking upon that, too, if we're going for the process of fingering Day 1 "bandwagoners". Whether we -are or should- go full on into bandwagoning is a whole different ordeal.

I voted for me (tee hee~), for whatever that's worth, which...I really don't think is much as there's no way to check the authenticity of these claims anyway.

Preview edit: Well, technically this CAN be proven by screenshots of the poll when logged in. I'm somewhat interested in Princess Zorro voters now.

As for trying to place blame on the people that voted for her, I don't think that's necessarily a safe bet. One, more than half the poll votes are from outside our little group, and there's no way with screenshots out that we can prove who actually voted in the poll where she won much more handily. Two, even if the scum knew the winner was going to die, they had several townies they could vote for. As long as one of them wasn't winning, there's no reason to pile on one person in the topic.

In any case, I'm pulling up the poll mostly in case of hindsight. Since knowing who voted on who back here and seeing how people react to the pool -right now- may be helpful later for rereadings - see through lies, ponder other possibilities, etc. This is mostly for archival purposes for town.

I agree with Yakko that picking those that were behind recommending poor Zelda to her death is not a safe bet. But I don't see anything as a safe bet at this point. REALLY wish I did, though. One thing, Yakko, what did you mean by 'the hilarity that would ensue' if you had won?

As clarification: they did not. Recommends were placed ahead of votes in the poll, but since the recommends were spread so evenly it did not end up mattering.

Huh. Well, that makes looking at the recommendations a bit better of an idea, but they still just needed to make sure it wasn't one of them in the lead. Which actually kinda makes me want to look at anyone that didn't have two recommendations. Which... doesn't really narrow things down a whole lot, does it? <censored>.
