The darkness lasted ten minutes. Sadly, that was more than enough. Cries of battles and fighting began resounding through the auditorium, as all the princesses found that amidst them was much violence...
"C'mon, let's go! Bet you can't outpace this!"
"Ngah! What the hell was that for!"
"My! How utterly disgraceful!"
"This... this can't be happening!"
"By the power ordained in me by the Heavens, I call forth the destiny of all sinners! Wipe this earth clean under the Judgment of Heaven! Eternity beckons here and now: FATE STORM!"
A long pause, at that one, punctuated only by moanings. "...What, it sounded cool!"
And then the lights came back on. "Sorry, slight power failure, that shouldn't hap-" Lucca paused, and stared in in disbelief.
Of the princesses, only Princess Emma, Princess Ara, Princess Girl, Princess Pschy and Princess Sea still stood. Princess Ann was against a side wall, bleeding heavily all over her face, body and arms. Princess BH had disappeared as into nothing. Princess Falco was passed out in the middle of the stage, both stiletto earrings in her hands, and Princess Ein had been petrified on the spot, what seemed like a stun blaster in hand.
And Princess Pschy stood, laughing cruelly, as she watched what Lucca and, indeed, everyone else was; Princess Diana, armless yet not bleeding, kicking Augustine's face in right near the entrance to the auditorium. As Diana's fury subsided, she looked up to the stage, where the laughter had gotten so loud it was almost unbearable.
"How jealous the hearts of man; to turn so callously again." Princess Diana murmured, before fleeing out of the room.
And then Princess Pschy collapsed on the ground, still laughing. "My, oh my, this has been the most fun in a long time... all of you fought in self-defense, it seems, but I... fought for fun~ Haha, Princess Zelda fell so easily, as did Princess Ann... Ah well, time for me to exit stage right, villian-style..."
And then slowly - very slowly - did she limp out of the room, the other princesses too stunned to act... ...except one. Quickly, that one ran up from the entrance of the auditorium to the surprised Princess Pschy, vaulted right behind her and slammed a fist into her face, knocking her out.
Princess Zelda reverted from her Shiek form and looked to the remaining princesses.
"Well, girls. I know she was one of them, but I intend to see you all suffer... I know, however, that one of you is innocent of any crimes against me. Do not speak, but act in my defense, I request of thee.
Still, it's a shame that we don't have a second-place winner yet for the contest, at a minimum; something we couldn't do while Augustine was conscious, poor man. Let's fix this. Surely us five reasonable spirits can decide on something, here? I'm sure you won't be so stupid as to try and kill me again..."
