Apologies. As I said on the top of the last post, I'd finish this when I woke up. I happened to fall asleep four hours ago, woke up now. So! Serious Post go.
"So. You're saying... we all killed you."
"Yes."
"And that you want to eliminate... one of us, and nominate another for second place?"
"Precisely!"
The other girls stared at Princess Zelda. "You're insane."
"I'll help you choose." Zelda says smoothly, looking the other five over... before stopping in front of Princess Sea and looking over her. "I recommend this one go."
"Why?" Princess Ara inquired. Princess Zelda looked into Princess Sea's eyes and grinned. "I recognize crossdressing when I see it."
Princess Sea looked into Princess Zelda's eyes, startled, before grinning a bit. The other girls looked at each other, stunned. "But... that's Yuffie! ...Isn't it?"
"Well..." 'Yuffie' said with a grin, "I've had my fun here, and Yuffie's panicked enough that I can likely smooth things over with her. My only request is that you keep this between you all, ladies."
"We will see. It is something we need to talk about."
"Best I can ask for, I guess." 'Yuffie' walked halfway out, and was escorted out of the area by the guards the rest of the way. Princess Emma turned to Princess Ara and Princess Girl. "Okay. I lean toward supporting Princess Ara. Agreement?"
"Sure." "Okay." "If that is your will..." Zelda walked over to Shale smoothly, before placing a small diadem on her head. "Congratulations on your victory. I wish it could take place under better circumstances... but, well, you know the situation well."
"Aye." Princess Faris nods, accepting the diadem.
"If you'll wait outside?" Zelda said, still smiling politely. As Faris left, Zelda turned to the other two...
who both had weapons drawn, eyeing each other warily as they circled around. Emma with her grand sword, Girl with her rod and a ball of magic in hand. Zelda sighed, before grabbing Girl's left shoulder. "Do calm down, you two; this is disgraceful. Emma, being an innocent here, has reason for caution, but..."
"So you two were working together?" Nina the Fourth says, startled.
"Yeah." Emma nods.
"But... isn't she a crossdresser, too? I mean, she's Ghaleon!" Nina stuttered.
"No, the sex change was complete."
Nina 4 halted at this. Blinked a few times. And then fled immediately out of the auditorium, past both guards and other contestants. Zelda gestured to the injured around them. "Mind helping us clean up, here, guards?"

A few weeks passed, before all the princesses were called to a small room in the DL Hospital to talk to Augustine. Ten arrived; the final, Princess Diana, was on the speakerphone.
"Ladies. The events of the contest? Disgraceful. As glad as I am to see that at least a first and second place winner have been chosen, the infamy of this contest will never be lived down." Augustine shoved a DVD a bit under the sheets and continued. "However... I believe that there was one amongst you for whom this was the plan from the start, though I know not who. One of you..." His eyes narrowed at this. "...is responsible, I believe, for it all. And I want a reckoning. Find the guilty party, and I will assist you in the... damage control... over this."
"Choose now."
