This looks quite unfair at a glance. A gentle, demure little cleric pitted against a hallowed battle veteran who is capable of wielding just about any weapon he deigns to pick with notable skill? Well, this glance is certainly misleading, since the truth of the matter is that, while Duessel may be a battle-hardened soldier with quite a reputation, this somehow fails to translate as actual fighting prowess. Slow, surprisingly frail and even more surprisingly lacking in his fighting skills, the Obsidian General is rather pathetic - pathetic enough to give Mint quite a fighting chance, even. While her damage is mocked by the likes of Suikodogs, the cleric has very deep magical reserves and is surprisingly stout for a healer, which should come in handy for this long battle of attrition. Thwack by thwack, Mint can slowly but surely bring down Duessel and move onwards - and that'll look good on her resume to boot.
