I totally do not associate the World Eaters in any way with Super Robots... just because things are similar in size, it doesn't really make them all that similar...

The world eaters come off as very organic to me.

Also, what's "Infinity Cylinder"?

Guess the jokes aren't popular here.
There are various jokes among the fans on World Eaters relating to super robots. Especially on Rasculan->Grungust and Nutra->Astranagun. Infinity Cylinder is also what sealed the deal on Nutra->Astranagun, it is Astranagun's ultimate attack, which Nutra literally mimiced.
