Ding! This one was me being cute with clues.

1. He's got extremely high alignment for a baddie and is generally honest.
2. A merchant tries to bribe him, gets thrown in jail. This is unusual in the empire.
3. Figaro's a Diva/General.
4. You can fight him if you skip several maps with Debonair. The two have a scene and you get his sword. It's pretty cool.

Word, NotMiki picked up on the end of the world right away, just wrong character.

1. Ultros is a midboss in the first half of game, then doesn't fight you anymore, despite still being around in WoR.
2. Brought Chupon with him, lost, and shortly later it was WoR time.
3. Bannon and Relm were both in parties that stomped him. His new job required walking in 2-3 spaces and saying 1 line to you!
