Right, then. Checking a FAQ because I didn't do the Abyss, I'd just like to point out that apparently Ragu's attack in WA3 was One Hundred Billion Degrees, which is less than One Trillion Degrees by a full order of magnitude. So not his best showing at all. (Edit: And Ragu wasn't it anyway. Huh, I don't remember Boomerang having that attack; go figure.)
Actually serious proposal I was thinking about anyway, and happens to be appropriate: Would there be any interest in a "Guess the Obscure RPG character?" I'm thinking something along the lines of the "Guess the quote" quizzes ran awhile back. There would be 10-15 sets of 3-5 clues, and people would (privately) send in their guess for each set, with most of the characters being from lesser played games like Growlanser Generations, Vanguard Bandits, Dragon Quest V, new stuff like Lost Odyssey, and so on.
See, the annoyance of characters from obscure RPGs is when effort is put into figuring out who someone is only to find out that they were from a game that only 15% of the guessers played. If there are a whole bunch of "guess the character" questions at once, and you only expect to know a few of them, it'd reduce the annoyance considerably ("This doesn't ring a bell at all; next set."). I already have a few good cluesets written for this... any thoughts/suggestions? (If you've got a good clueset for a character from an obscure game, PM it to me or tell me over IRC, assuming there's any interest, of course.)
