I think Alanna's on the right track, but missed some of the other clues. It's totally Largo.

1. Largo can't stop talking about how great he is, and is certainly manly. I mean, he's huge, shirtless, and bends a lance in half at his recruitment scene to show off.
2. Largo once pinned a tiger with his bare hands!
3. Largo certainly sees Ike as little.
4. Axe to the face, indeed.

ah I was thinking clue two was refering to Laguz weaponry which is why I went with Boyd :P Largo works too though :P
