Sucks that some of his issues came from his F'ed up part in the movie too, although taking numerous kinds of pills is obviously not the way to go about dealing with these problems.

Michael Chiklis (sp) had some issues playing the thing as well because of severe claustrophobia, and IIRC he went and saw a counselor about it.  It's too bad Heath couldn't do the same, he was a solid actor.

So was it confirmed it was a suicide then? I read there was confusion over that or whether it was an accidental overdose.

He was playing the Joker right? - I'll need to look into that more.

No, I'm pretty sure it was accidental, though the autopsy reports aren't out yet.

He was apparantly suffering from insomnia for a while and was taking several prescription drugs, as well as sleeping pills. He may have taken a wrong dosage accidentally and just died. Happens.

He was a good actor who had a lot of potential for a long career, didn't happen, wish the media would go away and leave some dignity in it.  Not that it will happen.  I expect there to be some kind of Death Fridge again or something.

Uhh yeah guess my post made it sound like suicide.  What I meant was, a lot of his issues occured while playing joker.  His anxiety and insomnia both developed during the filming of the movie (assuming what I read is right.)  Sounds like a case of just mixing the wrong prescriptions.

My thoughts are the same. It's a damned shame he died before thirty, but let him rest with some privacy and respect.
