1. Chaos. Despair. Bodies everywhere.
Right, this was the most misleading clue, of course, since it involves POKEMON PLOT. This refers to... actually an oddly effective scene I found in D/P. Team Galactic is trying to get the 3 legendary Pokemon, and you head to a lake to follow them... and... huh, what's that? A Magikarp out of the water. Walk a bit more, and... there's another. Walk to the next screen, and there are Magikarp *everywhere* and it's obvious that they drained the lake to get to the cave beneath. And the TG members also cheerfully mock the poor, struggling Magikarps. Clearly some chaos and despair on the Magikarp's ends! (Which of course opens the question of how much Magikarp enjoy fighting on dry land, since they can't seem to do much out of the water.)

2. Likes: Long walks on the beach. The gentle sound of falling rain. Charging at my opponents and crushing them.
Walking and killing make Pokemon happy. Magikarp's Swift Swim doubles his speed in rain.

3. You'd think I know sorcery from my name, but actually I'm strictly a bruiser.
Magic carp?

4. Though earlier in my illustrious career, I didn't even do much bruising. (Editor's Disclaimer: "Career" not actually "illustrious.")
Only Splash at low levels.

5. The magic of Jade Curtiss (Note: Not really magic, see #3), the might of Drachma, the weapon of Ulf... how come I don't win more often with power like that at my disposal?!
Splash, Tackle, Flail.

6. Clue #6? Sorry, but nothing happens in this clue.
....But nothing happened!

7. ...but nothing happened in this clue as well.
8. Odds look bad, give it another shot... but nothing happened.
9.-45. But nothing happened in these clues either!

Uh... Professor Oak. It's not just cutesy, it's actually horrific blood battles and he's a researcher into how the damn things fuck, but he's not alone, he has a bunch of kids helping him recruit shit for his horrid schemes and the computer dude lets him sort shit out anywhere. I have no clue on clue 6, maybe Ash's mom was a trainer who gave it up for smoking pot or something, I don't know.

And I know this isn't right because Dune would never choose Pokemon but fuck you it fits the clues pretty damn well. >_>
