AHHHHH!!! MC, I just found the cutest clothes for you!! Despite my silence, I've been on a search! You would look *adorable* in Tunics, sometimes with leggings, sometimes without with very simple and bare sandals! Dresses with boatneck collars! Accent your long legs with bootcut jeans and flats, but not straight-legged bootcuts. Or really-really high-waisted jeans with halter tops (shirt tucked in). A customer-lady about 6'4 came in yesterday and I said: "I hope you don't mind, but where did you get your pants!? I have a very tall friend!"
SO!
Long Tall Sally. . . which had a pop up store in Atlanta on Apr 9 and 10 ): and we need to stop by H&M and Target. So I'm hitting up Target my third time this month getting Spring dresses with my friend looking for a simple dress for a wedding next week. . . ahhhhh!! we need to shop, I have itchy hands!! I'll text ya about it later~ and then we need to Scoutmob at an Atl restaurant for 50% off our ticket. I could PM this, but whatevs.
OMG yay!
I totally should pick up some leggings; I tend to like the style they have, especially if they're an interesting colour like purple, and the times I've borrowed some they seem like they stretch to the point that height isn't super critical.
Bare sandals--only if we're doing the pedicure. I HAVE explained about how awful my toenails look when unpained, yes?
I actually have not heard of Long Tall Sally.
Boat neck collars...I think I have some tops that are kind-of like that. I don't have a lot of dresses that I wear regularly, though; the average dress just isn't very...modest on me (stuff that should go to my knees tends to actually be more like "Japanese sailor scout" length). I did get something absolutely adorable while I was in SF, though (but again, not especially modest).
Hmm...I have some stuff that's kinda tunic-like, but it tends to be more cold weather clothing.
Either way, I'm excited to see what you've found.
