      According to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com, the Bengals were the first team to make an offer to Michael Vick.
Is anyone surprised the Bengals got into the fray first? It's unlikely Tony Dungy would have allowed Vick to sign with Cincinnati because he is most concerned with Vick the person right now. Andy Reid signed Vick "sight unseen" - no workout or meeting, Reid just took Dungy's word for it on Vick, and Dungy trusted that the Eagles will be a good situation for Vick to re-start his career.

We should just go back to our plan from two years ago for backup QBs. Don't waste a spot on another QB, just make your #4 or 5 wideout your third-string QB. Koren Robinson did that two years ago and we almost went to the Super Bowl that year.
