Doesn't really change things much at all. Demi is faster and kicks Chie out of GH usability range with ITE by the time she puts up PC.

I'm all for Ranking Black Frost (along with other notable randoms like Metal Slime and Cactuar).

And seriously, headdesk all you like, it's a flavor argument that makes sense to me in the context of the SMT series. The demons/Persona have long been considered separate entities that are tied to the PCs (and sometimes PCs themselves). I'm especially inclined to view them as somewhat separate from Souji since he has so many to choose from and switches them constantly in battle. Sort of a halfway point between how Yuna clearly summons separate beings and Yuri transforms into different beings. I would -definitely- see 4D Pocket working on Yuna's summons, for example.

For all that I'm still trying to figure out a justification for 4-D Pocket working in a duel. At least Avril's still probably a low godlike on the speed and ok damage.

Avril, from the sounds of it, is basically Melfice trading the unreliable status and massive evade for ITD and noticeably better durability. That is probably Godlike material, 140%~ speed is good stuff.

You'd be wrong. Even ignoring the gameplay stuff (*snort* to that), the Personas in P4 are literally that person's potential unlocked and nothing else.

Yeah, she has still has about 65% PC HP damage (though elemental) off that killer speed and solid durability.

Also, Djinn, Aeons are at least targettable. Persona are not, nor does it matter if similar things are targettable in other SMT games, because the only game mechanics relevant to Souji's are those in P4.

A couple of questions on the Chie VS. Demi fight:

- Is Demi effected by Berserk Status?
- Has anyone tested the effectiveness of Chie's Punk Shoes (Which I believe have a high rating for inflicting Berserk)?

Sure, the Punk Shoes would probably nerf her damage somewhat, but P4 Berserk would force Demi to use nothing but regular attacks, playing into Chie's High Counter / Evade game. P4 Berserk also has the added effect of making your Defense suck in exchange for higher Attack.

Adray is a demonic spell caster (the best) with Quick Symbol (which only the mages can use so I allow it) and one of the better casters even without it, the problem is menu symbology damage is terrible so he'd have to aim for one with a status and hope it hits Ashton turn 1.

You can get unlimited Bunny Shoes in SO3 by sleeping at the inn with Santa's Boots equipped, take that how you will.
