Who got the first one of the group photographs, anyway?  That's probably the best one, even though not everyone's in it.  We got... pretty bored of the whole thing right quick.  I think this was the second or third one and we're already unamused.

DLC NOTMINI-GOLF!

So Meeple, Grefter and I managed to get out to Mini-Golf finally, after being rained out on our attempt yesterday. We went to the same course as DLC1, but no communist magic was to be had in turning balls into putters with the help of blue water. Grefter DID choose the red ball though, of course. There was no Capitalist ball, but honestly, who really wants to be stuck with blue balls?

As a reference, the top three from DLC1 were me (57), Yakko (58) and Jim (59). Best out of two games.

1. Soppy- 51
2. Grefter- 62
3. Meeple- 63

Grefter and Meeple's best games last time were both 76, so they improved by a hell of a lot. They also tied both games last time as well, which is also amusing since there's finally a winner between them. It was actually fairly close after the front 9, with me at 28, Meeple at 29 and Grefter at 33, but Meeple just ended up failing that much on the back 9 to let Gref come from behind. We also reduced the fail limit from 8 to 6, so that helped the scores, but no one really took more than 7 anyway, whereas there were a lot in DLC1 that did 8+.

Out of lack of another topic to really do it in without hijacking mini-meet one.

Ticket Prices come down $600 around the time of year expecting it to happen next, so I expect it to dip down again a bit more like it has in the past soonish.  Wondering if we have anything long term solidified for next year yet?  Other things I want to organise regarding it also.  Would really like to visit the Vancouver crew again if there is a chance since I really had fun last time.

I can help you get around once you're in the country, and give you a place to sleep. Beyond that, I obviously can't pay for everything.

Still, the offer's there if any of you are crazy enough to scrape together the money for a plane ticket to Japan. I figure at least a few of you are already interested in seeing the land o' RPGs first hand. I'm just trying to make it easier.
