Disgaea 3:Absence of Justice. Welcome to Evil Academy.
« on: August 10, 2009, 06:40:57 AM »
As with all stat topics, spoilers exist.  The typical warning has been issued.

Notes on mechanics are as follow:

1: Levels are taken at 65.  This is taken at endgame for one reason in particular; the two late-joining PCs' levels are this value.  Endgame skills seem to be learned at about 60, comparably, for those not named Asuka or Kyoko.  No reincarnations are given for any PC.

2: Equipment is taken at the best of Shop Rank 6 items (Rank 21 for standard equipment).  This translates to the following relevant equipment, item-wise:

Fists: Gank (ATK 363, SPD 363)
Swords: Blood Stinger (ATK 453)
Spears: General's Spear (HP 110, ATK 453, DEF 91, Range 2)
Guns: Mk. II (HIT 272, SPD 272, DEF 40, RES 40, INT 30)
Axes: Axe of Anger (HP 120, ATK 544, RES 20, SPD -91)
Staves: Celestial Rod (ATK 182, SP 40, INT 363, RES 45)
Monster(Mage): Minotaur Lore(HP 100, ATK 363, INT 363, DEF 80)
Armor: Breastplate (HP+50, DEF+272, RES-20, SPD-25), Bushido Suit(HP+40, DEF+245, HIT+25, +5% Wind Resist)  The latter is technically Rank 20, but most will want the lack of penalties and/or the boosts from this more than the comparably minor defense increase for the Breastplate

Available storebought accessories, for those who allow them:
Belts: Beastly Belt (ATK +57)
Shoes: Falcon Shoes (SPD +57, movement/jump bonuses)
Glasses: Plastic Nose (HIT +114, INT +57)

Bows and normal Monster weapons are not included because no cast members have any use for either.

Characters are taken with Weapon+Armor+2 Accessories, which is how I generally had them in-game for my playthrough.

3: Techniques are no longer learned by grinding weapon skills or level(outside of character-specific techniques), but instead purchased and upgraded with Mana, and selections are based on class.  Each technique has a base power rating (from F to S) and a multiplier based on the upgrade rank(100% to 640%, though it scales up much slower in the case of magic).  The techniques available vary upon the character, but there is usually one or two weapons at most that would be desirable for someone anyway.

[EDIT]Thanks to some issues that have come up in testing with Blade Rush outpowering anything and everything in the world, I find myself wanting a setup that lets the bases--what is unique--matter more than how many upgrades you can get out of a technique for the least amount of mana. Thus, skill ranks will be adjusted as such: No more than 200 Mana may be invested in a single skill's upgrades.  This means that skills range from Lv3(lower-level techniques) to Lv1(Giga spells, high-end weapon techs like Final Arts, and character ultimates).

4: Evilities.  This is basically an improvement upon passive abilities in Disgaea 2; Each character has one evility fixed for their class, and an empty slot for a second evility.  Most of these that are usable on one's own are DL-legal, though in the case of two characters, they only get their significant secondary Evilities if you Yamikei Clause them in(Though only one is inarguably useful, and one only trivially so).  Evility selection is based on the character, and thus all are viable options (Though not all are useful).

5: All weapons except guns, bows, and fists use raw ATK for damage.  Guns use (HIT+SPD)/2, Bows use (ATK+HIT)/2, and fists use (ATK+SPD)/2.  It is notable that character specials are now based on these weapon damage equations, with the exception of staves, which change it to INT (This does NOT change it to a nonphysical, unless it was magic to begin with).

6: Most characters have only one optimal setup, except Mao and Sapphire, who have viable alternatives.  These alternatives are described in their relevant sections.

7: Stats:

Note:  Uncovered number is for base stats.  Numbers in <> for non-alternate setups are for stats that change for equipment.  Numbers in () are for one accessory, numbers in [] are for two accessories

Analysis: Mao's game is all about bashing down an enemy with raw power before they can mount a notable offense.  The main character of the game, he's all about a one versus many approach in-game.  So how does this translate?  His offense versus groups isn't that well-translated to the DL (Violent Courage only gives a +3% damage bonus in the DL, already factored in), but his damage with axes is frightening.  Boomerang Axe coupled with Physical Boost deals heavy damage and lowers the enemy's defense, serving to make successive attacks even more damaging, and he's got more than enough SP fuelling it to outlast most typical heal-lock situations.  In addition, his 30% critical rate factors into his skills, letting his attacks' damage do nearly 3000 a shot.  The downside?  The rest of his stats, save for HP (just below average) and SP (decent) blow.  Next to gameworst on DEF and RES, and cast-worst for Evasion and Accuracy.  He hates the evasive, and he is never, EVER, dodging.  But that is some nice damage regardless.  Oh, and he only wants staves if he desperately needs magic damage.

Evilities:
Fixed: Hero's Oath:Enemies deal half damage if their level is higher
Hero-Style Combat:+20% damage to all attacks that deal nontyped damage(which is...just about everything DL-legal for him.  Unless you give him fists.  ALMAZ BLAZING PALM HYPE NOW.)
Hero-Style Defense:Automatically block frontal attacks (...hah.  ...okay, maybe useful against counters and low-movement types.  Namely FE Generals)
Deprave Vaccine:Chances for being hit with Deprave reduced by 50%
Poison Vaccine:Chances for being hit with Poison reduced by 50%
Dodge Mastery: Increases SPD proficiency by 10% (Only good if you let him use guns or fists.  Bad if he's stuck in breastplates)

Analysis: How to describe Almaz.  On the one end, he's very clearly the chew toy of the plot, insofar that he gets picked on.  With how he fights, though, I'm surprised at how often that he is.  His durability is deceptively VERY high thanks to Hero's Oath, and combining that with his good HP and Defense, he's already an above-average slugfester.  To boot, Hero-Style Combat boosts his damage by an impressive margin, pushing Running Crosses up to better than Mao's damage for his first turn, and depending on which damage average you take, is either a high 3HKO or a low 2HKO.  Outside of Hero's Oath, however, his magic durability is painful, and he's clearly bait for any MDEF-based status.  Still, that slugging ability is impressive to say the least.

Analysis: Sapphire has one thing that sets her apart from any other Disgaea character in the series.  She has native full healing in Giga Heal, and a large amount of SP to put into it.  Against those who have problems with running out of damage (and aren't too much faster), she can easily heal through the brunt of it, and then smash with impunity.  In addition, she has the same benefits from axes as Mao has; Boomerang Axe to open with and drop defense, and then pummel the enemy with Shunpu Moondance--which is definitely not fail damage for a healer.  On the minus side, she's on the worse side for HP and DEF, and in her standard configuration, she also has no evasion.  However, the healing combined with her Mao-Lite game should be effective.  If she instead desperately needs the accuracy or evasion, she can switch to guns.  However, that has some serious problems in and of itself, for damage...

Analysis: After the last three, Raspberyl is painful to look at, and is honestly a textbook Light.  Love thy Heart, if you let her have it, lets her barely 3HKO.  Which may be enough in some cases.  If you don't...her damage is painfully comparable to Kyoko's, and honestly won't help her alongside her ~75% average HP, with nothing in other stats to compensate at all.  She can do well against people who can't take magic (or fire) at all, and D-Rule 3 can give her some melee immunity.  But she is not getting out of Light.  Ever.

Cool Body: Halve damage from ice-elemental attacks
Sleep Vaccine: Chances for being hit with Sleep reduced by 50%
Deprave Vaccine: Chances for being hit with Deprave reduced by 50%

Analysis: Asuka is very gimmicky.  And were she in a non-phase-based RPG with a good speed score, that gimmick would be impressive beyond belief.  Problem is, she's in a Disgaea.  Needless to say, her damage at full health is nothing short of scary, on the level of Mao and Almaz.  As it stands, she's only getting that off on people who are average and losing tiebreaks, or worse for speed.  Below that, her damage is nothing impressive.  Slightly below average, but still managing a relatively average 3HKO.  Further testing may show that Camellia Chaos may rectify some of that with the increased critical rate, depending on the degree (testing is necessary).  It may give her a critical every other attack, and Dis3 crits are enough to push it barely to the high 3HKO/low 2HKO without full health.

Revision: Fuma Crane gives her more damage, and will at full health put her at the level of Mao/Almaz for raw damage.  The 50% critrate ensures that her damage is VERY notable, even below full health.  Her averageness otherwise aside, she's more respectably a Middle if you Yamikei Clause this in.

Kyoko...is odd.  On the one end, her evasion is downright insane.  1592 SPD does that, and it's even better with Sakura Illusion, which arguably lets her spoil ranged attack, and does affect magic from outside of melee range as well.  Her problems?  ...Everything except the evasion, honestly.  Kyoko's an example of someone who -desperately- wants a high-ranking skill, but sadly doesn't get one.  Still, the evasion is good, and if the opponent has no ranged (or good melee) attacks, she can raise some hell with Fallen Peony and Sleep, and maybe Deprave as well to bust enemy stats.  Still, the damage is not there otherwise, and she has sub-Yukari durability without the nigh-limitless healing.  Rather painful.

Revised:  Detective Double gives Kyoko some much-wanted damage.  Is it enough to get her out of Light?  ...probably not, though she's at least more competent within the division.

Analysis: Mr. Champloo is...weird.  On the one end, Chef's Special isn't bad damage compared to the previously-noted Raspberyl and Asuka (It manages to be roughly average).  He also has great HP and decentish evasion.  But if anything, the real issue is that Lion Stance is rather difficult to test--if taken as read, it's basically Law of Vengeance for counterable melee attacks.  I'll have to test this on my next round, really.  If nothing else, that and that HP could equate to a good deal of agony for the types who rely on basic physicals.  Oh, and Blazing Palm CLEARLY gets him into Godlike.

Analysis: Don't let the foppish look fool you.  The leader of the Sophomore class at Maritsu Evil Academy is amazingly deadly here, taking a combination of solid evasion, damage-halving against the majority of duellers , and gamebest damage in the form of the only maingame S-rank skill, Rosen Stars.  If you Yamikei Clause in Screw Counters, he takes between only 30-40% (testing postgame will have to be done) of the actual damage, lending to a very weird sort of tankiness without defense, though he does give up counters for this--arguably a winning trade in the higher divisions where basic physicals are almost never seen.  It doesn't hurt that he is above-average in every stat, including flat out best on raw damage and speed, Kyoko's shenanigans aside on the latter.  Overall, someone who you generally do not want to get into a slugfest with.

Revised: Rose Stinger adds nothing.  Big Star doesn't give a damn.  It helps to effectively highlight how much a rank difference in skill bases matters, however, as evidenced in the damage numbers.  Yamikei Clause does allow Screw Counters, though, which makes him unbelievably tanky.  Pending on how the reduction stacks, it cuts incoming damage down to either 40% or 30% from humanoids.  At worst, this cuts a high 3HKO to a 7HKO.  At best, a 9HKO.  He's still statusbait, and Godlike will still smash him, but Big Star with the Yamikei Clause is a solid Heavy off of that slugging potential alone.

Deprave Vaccine: Chances for being hit with Deprave reduced by 50%

Analysis: And last...we have the token prepromo.  Salvatore does have an impressive defensive game in D-Protection in addition to her evasion and cast-best HP.  Her problem?  The damage.  It's sub-Kyoko, and even she's got some tricks to raise it.  Salvatore struggles to 5HKO average, and god forbid she gets into a slugfest with people who have really good defense.  In a sense, it's the opposite of Mao, who has amazing damage, but subpar accuracy.  It's a massively losing trade, though.  C-Sniping is likely to never see use in the DL, and it's not helping her damage anyway.  A pity.  She has a solid defensive game (with a hole for basic physicals and status), but the offense is never there.  (Now, I've heard she gains a S-rank in the DLC, which she desperately wants, but not many are going to give her that due to the fact that it is DLC material.)

Revised: Amazing how much difference a single S-ranked skill makes.  And that's with guns.  Axe values will be taken later, but needless to say the base damage on Duel! is very, very notable.  It's enough to bump her up to at least Middle.  I'll look into damage values with axes ASAP; the resultant damage boost there might just push her up to Heavy given Yamikei clause.

GENERICS(Humanoid) POST
« Reply #1 on: February 06, 2010, 09:17:58 PM »
Yes.  As with other SRPGs, I am opting to do stat values for the generics as well.  Keep in mind, however, that this will take a while to fill out, given that there is a multitude of classes in Dis3, even moreso than in Dis2, and the Mana system means that they take a while to build up.  No DLC here, mind you, and I'm only going with maingame abilities and Evilities.  Ranks are based on the level that they are obtained at--the highest below 65 is what will be chosen in this case.

Stats for bows and Monster Weapons, as well as a situational armor (Cat Suit) which -does- have relevance here when it wouldn't otherwise.

Bows:Exorcist Bow()
Monster(Physical):Lionheart()
Armor:Cat Suit()  Yes.  It increases MV.  There is a use for this, as you'll see.

Edit: Thanks to the fact that I only now realized what the hell is meant by how critrates factor into damage, I'll be revising the damage averages now, taking this into consideration, including how it changes character rankings.

Damage:2114 (2162 with Love My Heart factored in, 2145 with Camellia Chaos, 2193 with both)
2.5x killpoint: 5285/5405/5362/5482
3x killpoint: 6342/6486/6435/6579
1:Master Big Star--Rosen Stars (3070)
[Nadeshiko's Form Camellia Chaos X-Level Flurry (3030)]
2:Almaz--Running Crosses (2774)
3:Mao--Boomerang Axe (2718)
[Nadeshiko's Form X-Level Flurry (2666)]
4:Sapphire--Shunpu Moondance (2601)
[Camellia Chaos X-Level Flurry (2311)]
5:Mr. Champloo--Chef's Special (2096)
6:Asuka--X-Level Flurry (2034)
[Love My Heart Giga Fire (1751)]
[Gun Sapphire Shunpu Moondance (1659)]
[White Lily Dance Lily Elegy (1568)]
[Staff Mao Giga Ice(1388)]
7:Raspberyl--Giga Fire (1320)
8:Kyoko--Lily Elegy (1298)
9:Salvatore--Gunman Spirit (1122)

WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN

Mao: Mao in particular loves this.  Axe critrate gives him roughly a low 2HKO/very high 3HK) to work with pending on average, which means that he can easily threaten heal lock on the less durable healers, and make life short for everyone else.  If he 2HKOs average or the enemy's frail, the enemy's not getting much time to live.  And it's worse if they're slower than him.

Almaz: Almaz doesn't care too much about this.  His damage is just around Mao's level, but his tankiness is still impressive if you allow it.  Low heavy with Hero's Oath, Middle without.

Sapphire: Sapphire's the second person who loves this.  Again, axe critrate jumps her damage up.  High 3HKO, bordering 2HKO.  Against the frail, she gets that 2HKO, and has a good amount of SP to work with off of some good healing.  Hates disabling status and better damage that is faster than her, though.  Still a middle.

Raspberyl: Raspberyl's damage hasn't fared well thanks to this.  Monster weapons give bad critrates, and so her damage under the best interps has dropped from a low 3HKO to a high 4HKO.  Worst interps?  Drops to a high 5HKO.  More blatantly in Light than before, really.

Kyoko: Kyoko's damage sucks.  Oh my god it sucks.  It sucks more than before, and I'm not even sure her evasion game would be enough to get her out of Light at this point.  She 5HKOs.  Enough said.  She may have a chance against the status-vulnerable.  May.

Asuka: Camellia Chaos is a runaway star here.  With that at full health, her average damage shoots up considerably.  Rivals Rosen Stars for best damage, and it's insane.  Still despises that Disgaea characters are fixed at average speed, however.  Regardless, with Camellia Chaos, she gets a clear (lowish, but clear) 2HKO if she can get the first move.  Her other problems still apply, but it's amusing that the only sword user can keep up with the others, somewhat.

Champloo: Camellia Chaos really makes his damage worse by comparison.  Still a general 3HKO regardless, so he's not going anywhere.  Also, thanks to MagicFanatic for finding out how Lion Stance works.  This lets him have some extra counter damage, and this lets him spoil FE fighters at the very least.  The evasion doesn't hurt either, really.

Big Star: Things haven't changed for him.  Lowish 2HKO, blah blah, still a solid Heavy off of his slugfesting potential.

Salvatore: Uh...wow.  No, seriously, I didn't think her damage could get -worse-  Much worse, anyway.  Now she's barely scraping a 5HKO, and getting closer and closer to that laughable 6HKO.  Defense game be damned, she can't damage worth shit.  This can possibly be saved by her DLC skills.  Or I could test her with a non-gun weapon to see if that has any effect on GGK (possibly shooting her damage out of the depths of shit and making her tanking game worthwhile.)

Her DLC move actually is decent damage. Has the same power rating as Big stars Rosen stars, its also based of her hit so having a gun equiped doesn't lower her damage.

Well aware that her other skill is S-rank, Rozalia.  However, my inability to acquire any DLC is the reason I am eschewing any and all of it from this topic.

As far as I've figured from looking over some of the stats...  Pre-DLC, Salvatore has absolutely no reason to use a Gun offensively.  She gets 3 different Axe techniques (including Boomerang Axe for D-Rank Range), same for Swords (and X-Flurry), and The Great Gun King actually runs off her ATK stat for some inane reason.

By the way, what is Salvatore's ATK with the DL-legal best swords and axes?  If I'm gonna do a bit of testing either way, it'd be nice to get the proper values to test with.  Note: I can't test The Great Gun King, as I've already done the stupid thing about getting it to +9 early.

EDIT:  ...Salvatore's S-Rank skill is based on ATK.  Master Big Star's Raspberyl Chapter attack sucks.  What.

In lighter news, Asuka picks up a unique C-Rank skill!  That's got to be good for her.  Kyoko also picks up a D-Rank skill...  While kinda sad, it's her best option...  Ever.

If you equip a gun it's based on HIT/SPD.  I believe all uniques just use the stats of the current weapon type.  Except magic uniques of course.

Talaysen is correct. GGK is horrible damage due to its rank nothing else.

What? Gun skills are hardly that much weaker then Axe skills at that level. She may do a tad more damage with an axe (Due to axes giving large str boosts) but thats at the cost of less accuracy and a hefty drop in spd. Not a winning trade I think.

Juuuust tested that statement with Duel (Salvatore's S-Rank Unique).  Used three different weapons.  Targets were the Prinnies in Strongest Entrance, so I wouldn't have to worry about Defense affecting variance.

Note: all weapons are L0, so there's that to prove.

Yoshitsuna equipped: 29290 ATK, 10406 DEF, 9073 INT, 11171 RES, 13027 HIT, 11975 SPD

Damages (1): 87629, 91344, 81687, 98191, 101493, 78718
Damages (2): 80944, 92829, 99842, 94890, 93570, 89939

Damages (1): 52852, 51324, 59495, 55394, 59966, 53868
Damages (2): 62000, 57426, 54377, 58951, 56916, 55900

Note: even in the Special menu, it stayed claiming that it was based off ATK.

Lovely Cupid equipped:  22090 ATK, 9086 DEF, 9073 INT, 11891 RES, 24511 HIT, 12201 SPD
Damages (1): 53991, 68792, 55039, 63954, 59758, 69894
Damages (2): 71643, 63430, 70477, 58711, 64477, 57136

Note: even in the Special menu, it stayed claiming that it was based off ATK.

The bow is only there because it's a dual-stat weapon like the gun, but increases ATK/HIT instead of HIT/SPD.

Other than random variance being huge here, it seems like it's pretty safe to say that the Axe (which hovers around an average of 90K damage) definitely beats out the sword (which hovers around 76K-77K damage).  Even the Bow (about 63K damage on average) beats out the Gun (56.5K on average), despite the boosts between the two weapon's HIT being exactly the same, and the difference between the Bow's ATK and the Gun's SPD being less than 100 due to unsubdued specialists.

Hard to say how much respect those would get - Raspberyl Mode apparently scales up enemies depending on how much of the aftergame you've completed, so taking stats for those would be far different.

Besides, only Mao and Captain Gordan even have arguments for being better, Vulcannus really did just look like a generic Alraune with a unique name to me.

As far as I know, guns aren't actually (HIT+SPD)2 instead of ATK.  There's probably some constant (less than 1) multiplied to the whole thing to compensate for the fact that HIT and SPD have other uses besides damage.

Same for bows, but higher constant since it uses ATK.

Though it may be a constant applied to HIT and SPD rather than the whole "attack stat" itself.

But yeah, even if all parameters are equal, gun damage is going to be weaker than axe damage because of this.  But you get more accuracy and evasion out of it so it's a tradeoff that should be considered.  I would probably use the axe damage for averages if it's higher (depends on aptitudes in this case of course).

I agree with this. Personally I think the accuracy and evasion is worth more then the damage. She is already quite tanky and adding some evasion in there adds to it.

Okay, to take up Tal on that point...  I've run a few extra tests using only basic physicals, trying to get the totals for the stats as close to each other for testing.  To do this for the sword, I had to drop the Legendary Yoshitsuna, and switch it out for a Normal Yoshitsuna.  In addition, Salvatore now has three pairs of Angel's Sandals for the SPD boost for the gun testing.

Strongest Entrance Prinnies used, only basic physicals.

Normal Yoshitsuna: 23410 ATK, 10119 DEF, INT 9073, 10931 RES, 13027 HIT, 12426 SPD.  Base average: 23410 (=ATK)
Damages (1):  8969, 9047, 9281, 8735, 8345, 9126
Damages (2):  8112, 8735, 8970, 8891, 9286, 8112

Average:  ~8800

Legendary Lovely Cupid: 22090 ATK, 9143 DEF, 9073 INT, 11891 RES, 24511 HIT, 13266 SPD.  Base average: 23300 ((ATK+HIT)/2)
Damages (1):  8772, 9239, 9239, 7995, 8151, 8461
Damages (2):  8539, 9083, 8384, 7996, 8540, 8928

Average: ~8610

Legendary Megiddo Cannon: 11650 ATK, 9638 DEF, 9073 INT, 24337 HIT, 21906 SPD.  Base average: 23122 ((HIT+SPD)/2)
Damages (1): 8859, 9013, 8705, 8018, 9090, 8782
Damages (2): 9090, 7934, 9244, 8550, 8937, 8705

Average: ~8744

These all seemed to have a similar result for their formulas once applied directly, making me think that the suggestion that Guns/Bows have a lower constant multiplier is false.

Also, I decided to retest Salvatore's Duel! with the Normal Yoshitsune, as it's only 1320 points in ATK stronger than the Legendary Lovely Cupid.

Damages (1): 62146, 56888, 60565, 58985, 57932, 61094
Damages (2): 61092, 58460, 58459, 62674, 55299, 59513

Average:  ~59425

...I'm...  Not sure what to think on that last set of numbers, truth be told.  Does it mean that Legendaries have a damage bonus on skills?  I mean, the ATK is 1320 higher than the Legendary Lovely Cupid, but the damage numbers came out about 4K below them, and still only about 3K above guns.  If, and ONLY if this probable damage bonus also applies to basic physicals, then...  I'm willing to believe that Tal might be right. EDIT: Just tested with the Vato Bros. Sword (which is Legendary by definition) and a few other equips to get her ATK as close as possible to the right amount (23710 ATK).  Basic physicals changed almost not at all, and Duel started dealing about 2K more damage than with the Lovely Cupid.

But yeah, even if all parameters are equal, gun damage is going to be weaker than axe damage because of this.  But you get more accuracy and evasion out of it so it's a tradeoff that should be considered.

I agree with this. Personally I think the accuracy and evasion is worth more then the damage. She is already quite tanky and adding some evasion in there adds to it.

Not much to say about durability if Salvatore's still struggling with slugfests in Light, even with it.

D-Protection is I'd say one of the best skills and with some added evasion to ward off normal physicals she isn't getting hurt much. Also unless you don't take into account DLC her damage isn't all that bad with Duel because besides Master Big Star all the cast has quite sucky moves ranking wise (The best being what B rank?)

You...clearly haven't been reading what all of this stuff means, as far as the stat topic goes, have you.  Yes, best non-Big Star non-DLC maingame PC cast skills are B-rank.  Keep in mind that Big Star (and if you really feel the need to count her DLC, Salvatore) completely lack any damage-boosting Evilities.  Unlike Mao and Almaz in particular;  Physical Boost and Hero-Style Combat are that effective in what they do, that they end up boosting their respective owners' damage rather heavily.

Not all games' normal physicals are alike, as a note, and Salvatore's speed is not that worthy of evasion hype.  I can see such being given for Big Star and Kyoko, maybe somewhat for Champloo.  Salvatore's evasion is comparably not that good, however.

Also, it appears that your argument for Salvatore being good hinges on a skill gained from a four-part optional section that not only are people possibly either unwilling to pay for or unable to purchase, but can arguably be described as postgame, thus being dependent on two levels of allowance to be had.  (At this point, I'm debating whether or not to allow Yamikei Clause for Screw Counters as well, on that note.)  I will test her sword and axe damages as normal, at the very least, but something tells me that she will continue to remain unimpressive.  The accuracy and speed boosts she gets from guns are...likely not that useful given her completely abysmal damage that struggles to 5HKO average.

I am fully aware of the damage boosting evilities. The Rank closes the gap somewhat and easily allows her to beat out some characters.

And? I allow it and thats my decision and if people don't agree then thats cool I don't mind. All that it changes is I'll be voting on a good heavy while everyone else'll vote on a ok light. That sort of thing happens elsewhere.

If you so wish to include DLC, then you may feel free to create your own stat topic for Disgaea 3.  This argument, however, is pushing me to be further and further opposed to including any DLC for this topic.

Besides Salvatore no-one actually changes all that much. However if you don't want me to bring dlc in to this then thats dandy, I won't bring it up again.
