I'll be doing this in a few weeks in a class I'm taking, but figured I could do it soon:

Apparently, the Pope was like this.  I see that my true calling was religious leadership, not medicine.  Curse me for choosing the wrong direction in life!

Holy shit. We're both ENFJs? Perhaps that's why -----

Yeah. As I thought, I'm much, much more extraverted than you OK.

I opened the page from my history since people are listing their results.

Bored waiting to do the fly home thing.

So this is me.

INTP

Fairly strongly introverted but not 100% like I used to be, think I am much stronger on the Intuitive and the Thinking than I used to be, Perceptive is about the same.

I like the Keirsey profiling of this a lot and I seem to have either rolled some of the description there into my way of understanding how I think or it is just uncannilly accurate (going with the former most likely).  Relevant specific sentence being " External reality in itself is unimportant, little more than raw material to be organized into structural models".  The number of times I have described my way of understanding principles as an idealogical framework is fairly frequently when trying to get someone to understand how I think and yeah... pretty spot on.

The Butt and Heiss analysis are also pretty accurate as well.  Good reads, reminds me of some of the more fun tutorials I had in Personality in second year.

ENFJ, by super's test.

1/50/25/67. The 1% is absolutely perfect, I tend to be an extrovert when I want to be around people, but I really do not want to always be around people, and it does balance out somewhat. 67%...I'm a creature of habit too much lately, need to break out a bit of that. The N feels like it's off somehow but it's hard to put my finger on; I dunno, my intuition *is* a sense to me, one I rely on as much as my ears in general, and about as reliably. >_> And yeah, the 25% is right on it. Pretty decent accuracy, neat.

Man, I do just find it amusing on reflection that I talk about 100x more online than I do in person. ...which is really impressive considering how much I talk online. Hah.

Took the test super linked because I felt left out, missing numbers and all.

I - 67
N - 75
F - 38
P - 33

Kinda curious about the P, but the I, N and F all make sense. I used to test INTP. Apparently the atrophying of my ambition leans toward my touchy-feely side.

I'm kinda new here and don't know many of you well, but I think it's really... interesting? unsurprising? that 'T' seems really prevalent here (eyeballing it looked about 50/50); F is far more common in most areas of the internet, and I believe in the general population as well. All you math/stat/programmer people ^_^

Me, I was ENTP the last time I had it done somewhat rigorously (maybe 12 years ago in highschool), light on the 'E' and 'T' extremely heavy on the 'P'.

On Super's test:

ENTP
Extroverted   Intuitive   Thinking   Perceiving
Strength of the preferences %
56   62   25   33

I've definitely shifted towards extroverted over the years, though this probably has as much to do with getting over shyness and making friends as anything. I spent a lot of time alone as a kid, but not really because I wanted to. Not sure what the drop in Perceiving is. I'm more organized and punctual than I used to be, maybe.

Yeah, this group definitely has a T majority, which definitely isn't typical though can be explained by the reasons you said. I know my particular type (INTJ) is one of the rarest in the population at large, but there are seven of us here in this thread with it apparently.

Why not? The post was on-topic, and I would say it makes more sense to be posted here than for a new thread to be started on the exact same subject.

(I've never understood the problem some people have with thread necromancy.)

Necromancy go

Infp here

I - 51%
N - 86%
F - 92%
P - 87%

Obviously the E/I is close careful study reveals I'm a very open and interested Introvert, I just don't like the energy drain from socializing(2 week+ recharge time for just a few hours socializing. Can take a year or more to recover it from conventions! Grumpy grumps!).

While Myers-Briggs is very fun I think OP would enjoy the Big 5 test: http://www.personalitytest.org.uk/
It gives a much better understanding of what personality really is!

Myers-Briggs is more like numerology IMO, very accurate but an itching scratching sense of hooey film flam.

Edit: 2 some years later, traveling the world, loads of maturity, steven universe, cynacism, and personally meeting 15 million new people in the last year alone... My results are now
I 41%
N 50%
F 31%
P 38%

Pretty shocking change, i need to bring F and P up to 50% to be a truly neutral/balanced individual, i was sitting on 'uncertain' on quite a few of the answers now (torn between trusting my feels and reasoning, just how far i should anyalize something vs go with my gut, etc). This kind of points to me shifting into TJ territory with the mask/shadowfunction except ive taken off the mask and tried to integrate all sides and personality aspects into myself, i've also hung out with quite a few thousand sociopaths, psychopaths, and autistic individuals (cant seem to encounter schizophrenics for some reason tho), and gleened and picked up some of their very useful traits, and had a few negative ones rub off on me a bit. I definitely dont feel i am at where i want to be but scoring '50%' in all 16 types is my intended way to develop as iseem to be everyone on some level (which calls into question the validity of 'personality tests') noing quite as enjoyable for me as self mastery, balance, and experimentation.

Looking nback over my old posts here makes me laugh and roll my eyes at my inexperience and silly opinionatedisms at the time.

INTP here as well. This test is becoming more and more popular here in Brazil with Human Resources professionals - but you need a license (and it is as expensive as it sounds) to use it commercially.
