Congratulations ID.  Put that decade of study to use.

Now you can legally sue anyone involved in Death Note for abject failure.

Congrats ID.  Hey, do you know that guy Harvey Birdman?  He's a lawyer, like you are.  Actually he's a superhero, and a lawyer.  Actually, he used to be a superhero, and now he's just a lawyer.  With superpowers.  I'd like his autograph.  Can you get me his autograph?  I'm talking about Harvey Birdman's autograph, not yours.  I mean, I guess I could get your autograph too, but I really want Harvey Birdman's.  Do you know him?  He has his own theme song.  Do they give you a theme song when you graduate from law school?  I'm not really sure where Harvey Birdman got his theme song.  If I had a theme song, I'd want it to be just like Harvey Birdman's.  Except with my name instead of Harvey Birdman's.  Because I'm not Harvey Birdman.  But hey, if you know him, can you get me his autograph?

So I am stuck in the computer lab for the forseeable future. We are running this shit on the computer and none of it is working at all. Today I hate my major. <_<

That's relatively small. New Yorkhas 20 something potential subjects, including in state procedure, on top of the Multistate stuff. New Jersey has... 19?

I'm not in anyway saying it was easier. I'm just wincing at how much it's going to suck. Again, congrats.

So apparently Mother 3 and P2: Innocent Sin both have full English translation patches now? Woah. Someone needs to walk my computer-illiterate ass through how I can set those up.

Protip:  There is a 98% chance that NBA2K8 is exactly the same.

Then play NBA 2K7.  Or 2K6.  I'm not sure if you've noticed but the sports genre doesn't really change all that much per year.

More than you'd think.
2K9 includes player ambitions, which deals with the more fun part of the game; the executive side. I'm more interested in better and better team-building games.

Eh, the original NBA Jam is better than Tournament Edition.  Power stat is unbalanced as hell.  Still a good game though.

Current schedule: looking for books to buy for the MD exams. Going to the university's library to find excerpts to read. Trying to figure out the labyrinthine scheme they use for numbering and organizing the books. Realizing that the library hasn't been dusted off in like seventeen million years. Toughing through allergic crises to read the damn books.

Oh yeah, and I have to walk something like three miles just to reach the library! The things I do for academia.

Amen.

In related news, Jacques Derrida is confusing in the way that I just spent 9 pages (out of 12 or so) thinking I was writing a paper but in reality I was just rephrasing what his main point was in "Des Tours de Babel."  While I'm glad that I now have a vague idea of what he's saying, the fact that at least half of this will have to be scrapped in favor of actually arguing something (instead of thinking that I'm arguing something and it turns out that I'm not) leaves me a little pissed at midnight on the night before the essay is due.

Oh well.  At least it'll be easier now that I have some better grasp of it. WAH BITCHING ABOUT UNDERGRADUATE WORK.

Derrida is awesome stuff, should be good when you move onto other hard stuff as well though. Foucault is fantastic as I am sure I have stated before..

Just remember when you read them, that no matter how much it looks like it, Foucault was fairly adamantly not a post modernist and Derrida was definitely not a Nihilist.
