How would Shabon/Melville OHKO each other? Both are frail, but neither even 2HKOs average (or come particularly close), and they're probably not worse than, say, 0.6x PC HP. Melville in particularly barely scrapes a 3HKO, so it's likely he doesn't even 2HKO Shabon at all.

This. I originally kneejerked against Karyl, but range game spoils Soren's counter game... and that might be just enough. Dammit. I -like- Soren. ;_;

A really favorable Pikachu interp lets him OHKO Chidori, which is LOL.

Not knowing Karyl, it's kinda hard for me to figure out how, exactly, he gets out of range of Soren's attacks. I figured people, at most range-friendly interps, saw just short- and long-range, and Soren hits both. So how does Karyl avoid it?

He's dual range, so Soren has no counter advantage. On the flip side, would mean that Karyl would counter Soren either way in game, and has the healings (And is also physical. Soren could mathematically take it with Astra or something, but feels like it's stacked against him).

Unless Djinn means Karyl attacking from the full other side of the screen and seeing that out of range of Soren's attacks.

By range notes are somewhat assumptions, because I can't remember ToD animations too well, though.
