Anyway, no ties and on we go to the semifinals.  Effective records shown, ties are not:

Godlike is Godlike.  That is all.

vs
(4-0, 3 KO)  (4-1, 3 KO)
vs
(6-2, 4 KO)  (5-0, 5 KO)

In Heavy, we have the battle of 2 SRPG Series.  The winner will face the worthy one of a third.

vs
(6-2, 4 KO)  (5-4, 4 KO)
vs
(12-4, 11 KO)  (3-1, 3 KO)
(Champ)

Middle's... a pair of rematches.  However, since one was 2-0 and the other was a 1-1 tie, let's hope this time that the fighters are "Giving it Everything!"

vs
(18-0, 17 KO)  (7-2, 4 KO)
(Champ)
vs
(3-1, 1 KO)  (4-1, 3 KO)

And has the fat lady sung in Light?  Or will Opera give us a coda?

vs
(13-0, 13 KO)  (4-1, 3 KO)
(Champ)
vs
(7-4, 6 KO)  (5-0, 4 KO, #7)

In addition, I'm going to try something out.  In the 1st round, Wild-Cards are moved to prevent in-season rematches.  Unfortunately, this is not always possible in the Semis.  (In fact, with 3 pools, it's quite likely; Heavy not having any rematches yet is neat.)  However, when this happens, matches between the loser of 1 match and the winner of the other often aren't rematches.  So I will put Winner A vs Loser B and vice versa and compare margins and percentages.  This is only for fun (FIT Tiebreaker rules apply to the actual tourney) and testing.

Match Time:

FIT Semifinals:
Persephone vs Lugia
Dark Force vs Nate Nanjo

Debonair vs Ike
Lyon vs Belcoot

Noa vs Ken Amada
Massimo vs Nightburn

Shabon vs Karyl
Pikachu vs Opera

Cross-Testing:
Noa vs Oswin
Ken vs Nanaki
Massimo vs Grobyc
Nightburn vs Cielo

Shabon vs Soren
Karyl vs Melville

Voting ends Tuesday Night

Lyon vs Belcoot - Lyon might OHKO Belcoot, the mdur is pretty underwhelming. Even if she doesn't, she's notably faster and Falcon Rune lolohko hype, as usual, is a no-go for me.

Noa vs Ken Amada - lolcharm.

Shabon vs Karyl - Yeah.
Pikachu vs Opera - Immunes Palsy, quite possibly resists Lightning and 2HKOs. Pika usually can't do much against even 4HKO damage.

Noa vs Oswin - Again.
Ken vs Nanaki - Wow, that charm weapon actually sees use here. Close, though.
Massimo vs Grobyc - Eh, sure.

Karyl vs Melville - CRIT RATE is tempting, but nah.

FIT Semifinals:
Persephone vs Lugia
Dark Force vs Nate Nanjo

Debonair vs Ike - Deb needs to OHKO to me. Doesn't quite happen.
Lyon vs Belcoot - She probably OHKOs. Even if she doesn't, she goes first.

Noa vs Ken Amada - How charming!
Massimo vs Nightburn - Kneejerk.

Shabon vs Karyl - Kneejerk.
Pikachu vs Opera - Goes first, too.

Cross-Testing:
Noa vs Oswin - It's still Charming!
Ken vs Nanaki - Moar charm kthnx?
Massimo vs Grobyc - Though again, the boss form might take this.
Nightburn vs Cielo - Not Cielo's kind of fight.

Shabon vs. Soren - Sleep, ID, whichever.
Karyl vs Melville - Uh... no clue.

Dark Force vs Nate Nanjo - Dark Force hates not actually having anything that's dark elemental.

Debonair vs Ike I think counters tip this.
Lyon vs Belcoot - Twilight Rune?

Shabon vs Karyl
Pikachu vs Opera

Cross-Testing:

Shabon vs Soren - Respect his MDef against Shabon's status.
Karyl vs Melville

Eh? Opera's pretty slow at movement speed, and @ on One needs her to move quite a fair deal. She can't shoot it at any point in space, she has to move into a certain distance to fire, and that distance tends to recorrect itself at every casting. Seeing that beat above average speed feels pretty off. This doesn't change the match at all, but just sayin'.

FIT Semifinals:
Persephone vs Lugia: ITD brutal overkill. Not even the tank bird can stand up to that.

Debonair vs Ike: Ike is an absolutely brutal physical slugfester.
Lyon vs Belcoot: Go first and 2HKO works.

Noa vs Ken Amada: ^_^ <3 ^_^
Massimo vs Nightburn

Shabon vs Karyl: Dhyer hypes her for a reason I'm sure! (ID, I think)
Pikachu vs Opera

Cross-Testing:
Noa vs Oswin
Ken vs Nanaki
Massimo vs Grobyc
Nightburn vs Cielo

Shabon vs Soren
Karyl vs Melville

FIT Semifinals:
Dark Force vs Nate Nanjo

Lyon vs Belcoot- Smash.

Shabon vs Karyl- Think so. Karyl wasn't dominating in any one area.
Pikachu vs Opera- Her thunder resist is storebought IIRC. *Flushes Pikachu*

Cross-Testing:
Noa vs Oswini
Massimo vs Grobyc- Don't know. Djinn: Boss form Grobyc is a Light, so it's almost never a factor.

Karyl vs Melville

Just my general interp for ranged ARPG attacks. There's no charge time, so it gets initiative. Default to Opera's movespeed as below average after that. Though I agree that in this particular case it seems kind of weird. Might mean that Pika doubles after her first turn, depending on how fast he is.

Problem is it does have a charge time in practice. Opera still has to move -to the point where she can fire against the enemy she picked, and she can be knocked out from it, still has the slight start-up of the move and other PCs can get to their own enemies -before- she gets to that point herself. If she could shoot it straight from anywhere in the screen, it might even make sense, but it's a move that is often non-negligibly slower in practice than, say, Claude's Ripper Blast. That just doesn't make sense even given ARPG trainwreckery.

Lyon vs Belcoot

Shabon vs Karyl
Pikachu vs Opera-Opera resists thunder, right? Pika's physical damage is not good. It either A: Misses way too much (Slam) or B: Sucks at damage (Quick Attack)

Cross-Testing:
Ken vs Nanaki

Shabon vs Soren- Hit rates for status in FE are res based. LOL Shabon's ID hitting Soren's res. Soren probably can pull out the win.
Karyl vs Melville- I think?

Persephone vs Lugia: Lugia doesn't like being a bit faster. Funny.

Dark Force vs Nate Nanjo: Both of Dark Force's two later forms have 2HKO-to-OHKO dark magic damage, and the last form's physical is even a spear, so what the fuck, guys?

Lyon vs Belcoot: Smash.

Massimo vs Nightburn: Faster, opening shot of gravity, status immunity.

Pikachu vs Opera: Sure.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

I usually vote on Dark Force 1 myself, who just explodes at LightAll, but to comment more specifically, MagicWall reflects anything, even if he's still weak to it, which I think terribly fucks over 2 and... I don't know what he does about 3, but LightAll might still work? I dunno.

Dark Force vs Nate Nanjo - Wrecked.

Debonair vs Ike - Oh, this is close, and I wanna give it to Deb, but Ike probably takes it.
Lyon vs Belcoot

Shabon vs Karyl - Damn, Shabon's been winning a lot lately. Suikomages are not lights, they're Low Middles.
Pikachu vs Opera
