Rikku (vs. Nightburn)
« on: October 09, 2009, 10:44:04 PM »
Right here, today for you, we've got a former champion taking on a newcomer. If Nightburn isn't already daunted with panic and anxiety, the man clearly isn't ready for the Arena. Oh, what's that? But Nightburn's got machine guns to rip Rikku asunder? Pshaw, the Al Bhed girl works with machinery for a living, he'll be needing a bit more than a shiny pair of barrels to take care of her. Her status tricks might not be effective here, but who's to say she'll need 'em? Rikku will be running circles around the poor newcomer, ripping him to pieces before he'll know it. A trusty Al Bhed Potion will quickly recover any bullets that Rikku actually does manage to be unable to get away from. At the least, Nightburn can hide his defeat behind the 'new guy' excuse. Maybe he'll think twice before underestimating his opponent next time.

if you believe in being a GOOD PERSON

If we believed in that, we wouldn't be forcing world-saving hero to fight eachother to the death for our amusement.

Right here, today for you, we've got a former champion taking on a newcomer. If Nightburn isn't already daunted with panic and anxiety, the man clearly isn't ready for the Arena life. Oh, what's that? But Nightburn's got machine guns to rip Rikku asunder, plus an overgrown ego? Pshaw, the Al Bhed girl works with machinery for a living, he'll be needing a bit more than a shiny pair of barrels and a bad hype campaign to take care of her. Her status tricks might not be effective here, sure, but who's to say she'll need 'em? Rikku will be running circles around the poor ickle newcomer, ripping him to pieces before he'll catch on to her grand machinations. A trusty Al Bhed Potion will quickly recover any bullets that Rikku actually does manage to be unable to get away from, cinching the victory securely in Rikku's handy toolbelt. At the least, Nightburn can hide his defeat behind the 'new guy' excuse to salvage his pride. Maybe he'll think twice before underestimating his opponent next time.
