In fairness, it may have just been that attending the drunkfest also required leaving the group proper for several hours, which is rarely for the best.

I didn't really see people being that opposed to it, honestly. They just waited until they got back to the hotel and it was already pretty late.

And damnit, there will be drinking because I missed the drinking party at DLC4.

Seriously, at almost every party I go to where there are drink, I fail at least one of those requirements (and usually A!)

Nothing wrong with drinking at DL Con really. Think Hal said no drinking at 2 with well good reason since he is the host and it was his call and it ended up being at his freaking place after the drams died down, so... yeah fair call, same goes for 4 really. 3 involved mainlining Apples to Apples and boardgames between having a toke of Weird Niu Games. There was also some Tohou and various action games going round. Pretty much with that many TVs and people having a chance to shuffle around in groups like that meant there was always something going on that you could hit. Also I think if anyone got drunk Gate would have dropped them in the ocean to save Jenna a mild heart attack.

Note to Snow, get majourly inappropriately drunk if you want to be man handled by a large burly man (I think we can manage a few out of the group or we can just give you to Djinn)
