Hrm. What's the drinking age in the US again? I forget.
But I'd be up for going out drinking somewhere, although probably not much for me - total lightweight here. >.<

21 years here.

You give your memory overly much credit.

The most I can help in the fud regard is frying eggs, roasting meat and making coffee, though, all of which seem to be largely covered by the cooking DL Megazord.

Also, it's scary to realize that most of us are already over 23 years old.

Snow: Oh, come on! I give my memory the credit it deserves!

And on the topic of food, I'm willing to do the croissants as usual, though anything beyond that will have to wait and see if I can remember my own last name.

Eh, it's okay, I now have the age, resources and availability to make a cross-continent trip just to meet a bunch of internet nerds. I wouldn't even dream of the idea back when I was 21.

Unless someone hits on super while drunk, I doubt you'd be able to get any more material than when we are sober.

That's less blackmail material and more hilarious. Well, hilarious until someone gets cut into pieces with a claymore.

You're assuming I wouldn't be epically amused by any guy hitting on you  ;-)

When it gets closer to time I'll throw up a food topic. Will need to know if I'm cooking Portugese Chicken for that many people again~

Might I request that this time, we insure there's decent Vegetarian Options <_<?  I know the Kosher thing can get confusing, so it'd be just easier to say "If its meat, its no go." and just avoid that altogether by putting something with NO MEAT on the menu at all times <_< >_>

Hadn't checked the topic in a while, but things have changed since then!

Put me down as a maybe.  The next year's going to be in flux for me for a while, so I won't say anything definitive.  If I get into JET, mid August is probably going to be impossible for me.  If I get into REACH or any of the other programmes I'm simultaneously applying for, then mid August is only probably impossible.

Of course, the pessimist in me says keep me down as a maybe, but... >_>

If someone else wants to handle that, fine. Since to the best of my knoweldge you don't cook, you may not get just how damn exhausting cooking a meal for that many people actually is. One dish is hard enough, trying to make a second for the few folks with non-standard diets would be more then I can handle.

Then there's the issue of space. At the house we had last time we had *exactly* enough space for me to make the portugese chicken. Trying to even make a simple side dish would have taken more counter and range space then we had, a second entree was completely out of the question. The house we're looking at this time is a bit better(2 kitchens), but if we don't get that one then the same problem may apply.

Asking for a vegitarian option seems like an easy thing but when you consider the number of people, not so much. It'll depend entirely on 1) if someone else is willing to handle cooking that and 2) if we have the space for it anyway.

The simplest solution in that case is probably actually just doing whatever dinner vegetarian style to start with... and while it's an interesting idea in a vacuum, I've gotten the impression from Sage and the food topic that the vegetarian staples are finnicky foods and that cooking them well is an art in itself, so probably monstrously impractical at a "feed the DL" scale...

Then someone besides me will have to do the cooking. Jenna is practically a carnivore, so I have 0 experience cooking anything vegitarian outside of just throwing a salad together. And I'm not going to cook for that many people unless it's something I'm confident in.

At least that will give you the necessary leeway to keep me forever placated with your cooking, Gate. I'm not sure I'd -eat- (as in, eat anything ever) if meat and sugar didn't exist.

I actually will cook something really easy as an alternate meal, like spaghetti or something, if that's an option.

And if whereveer we get doesn't have enough space to cook a second meal, there's always the option of using our place to cook the second one and then skipping down the hill with it when it's done.  Wherever we get a place, it won't be too far from ours.

Well, A: There's no guarantee I'll actually make it, and B: I tend to eat twice a day at weird times anyways, so skipping out and putting a large dent in any available soda supply is always an option for me, so I wouldn't worry terribly about it.

That said, I'm not too awfully hard to please veggies-wise. I never had problems during DLC4, and DLC2 the only time I skipped out was when we went to a texan barbeque place. >_>

Oh, and put me down for maybe. I've got enough cash flow so that I could almost assuredly take a bus...but I'm not taking a damn bus that far, sorry. Getting a plane ticket is much more iffy, but I'll see what I can do. Who knows.

Okay, if no big surprises happen in-between now and August, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to swing by. Preliminary vacation times were released, and I'm scheduled for August to September.
