Sounds like a Just As Planned to me.

Dammit, at this point I agree with you.

Edit1: And there it is.  By my word counter, I have 50,068 words.  One day ahead of 07!

Edit2: and the NaNo counter says 48,407 words.  Well, screw that.  Granted, Chapter's not done yet and the epilogue still lives...

Edit3: And now I officially have enough words.  Oorah!

Congratulations.  Again.  So, do you ever do NaNoEdMo or does the product of this semiautistic superpower go forever unedited?

Everything I do comes out sparkling clean and perfect!

Also editing is too much of a hassle, so no.

You really want to read 50000 words of unedited work that was written in 5 days?

Pfffft, it's freaking awesome beyond words.  Damn the editing!

Though I do spellcheck as I go, and did my best to fight my sticky shift keys.

Due to busy and lazy, I'm still way behind. It is looking like I might just have to try and push it all out in the last two weeks at this rate.

I am also behind, but it's a matter of not having time/energy, not stuff to write. Since I'm doing a write-in on Sunday, I expect to get a lot of stuff done then.

Maybe.

Unless I get distracted.

Yeah, this pretty much sums up my current position. I finished one college assignment today, got another for Monday that I haven't started yet... and I'm almost 1000 words into this.
I also have a slight problem in that my currently planned plot and my writing style are leading me to writing a very short story. So, to reach 50k, I'm gonna have to include DBZ levels of filler. Gah.

Nonsense!  Filler is the lifeblood of NaNo!

Quote from: Crash2

"Good boy!" The Beast clapped. "You get a filler star. "

---

"Yeah, more filler and such. But let's get down to plot!"

---

"You would have allowed the universe to be destroyed because you hate a girl. That's so much worse."

"What? I didn't, that's why we're having this conversation."

"That and filler."

---

"28, 29, 30, stop. Why are we always stopping? No one gets on!" she complained.

"Maybe there's some jerk running around pressing the buttons. Just five floors left though." And Shane's thoughts immediately leapt to Crash2 and his constant talk about filler. Shane didn't know why though, it just felt relevant.

---

"Oh, that's just great! Less than half, and even with a weakened weapon? What bloody use are the two of us?"

"Filler."

"Stop saying that!"

---

"Well, let's get going crew, we still have work to do!"

"Huh? Really? Thought we'd be done for the day. Seems like a good place to stop and get something to eat before the next major event." Shane said.

"Yeah, but I have a goal today, and as always..."

"Filler." Michelle finished his sentence.

"You're learning! Oh how sweet you two are!"

---

"Damn, that's convenient as hell." Shane said.

"Convenient nothing, we hit 4k."

"What? Is that related to filler?" Michelle asked.

---

"You twirly gate bastard. We'll route ourselves before we prostate before you!" Shane said.

"Not again, we don't have time for that!" Michelle lectured the weird talk again.

"Sorry," he apologized. Hearing Crash2's mocking laughter of filler already.

---

"Should you really be telling us all this?"

"I," the voice stopped, "No! I shouldn't! How did this happened?"

"It just sorta," Liane searched for the right word, "does. Crash2 would call it filler."

"I shall learn more of this filler, it sounds powerful."

---

Liane waved her finger, "So easily distracted. Such the power of filler."

---

"Taunt all you want, you can never win."

"Oh yeah, one word for you," Crash2 leaned in like he was telling a secret to someone. "Filler."

"W-what?"

---

"It won't work, nothing you can do will work!"

"Maybe, maybe not. But all I know is filler."

The voice yelled in indistinguishable outrage.

---

"Insult all you want, I shall not lose myself to your taunts."

"Oh yeah," Crash2 grinned as he blasted a skyscraper sized whole in the meat mountain. "Filler."

"What the hell is filler! Grah! I don't care, go, Code: Alphanumion12165Gemina!"

---

"Well, let's cut the filler," Liane stopped in surprise, "Oh hey, I get it now! Errr, let's go over your plan?"

...That's epic. XD

Right. Doing my second college assignment tomorrow. Finished FE8 today. I will start writing for NaNo again by Monday evening. Gah.

Edit: Monday evening. About 1000 words in an hour. More than doubled my previous word count. Never gonna reach 50k, but might actually get somewhere, at least!

Yeah, I'm thinking Bard was right in wanting to read your story. I was laughing throughout that whole thing, and it definitely encouraged me to get writing again as well!

Nov 10th: 7065 words.
Managed over 5000 words today, yay! I've written the very last few lines, a random section from the middle (the end of a -very important- plot chapter), and the other 6250 words are the first 6250. As it is, I know where I can force filler into my story, so I'm almost planning to write from the end now. Once I've done that, I can fill in the gap with as much filler as necessary to reach 50000 words.
I'm pretty happy with some of the sections I've done, although it does get a little.. too descriptive at times. Not that that's necessarily bad from a story-telling PoV, but... I'm somewhat worried that things like this are coming from my imagination. Going into detail on how somebody has been tortured is not what I expected to be doing for this.

Also, I suck at creating names. I currently have Andrei Konin, Josef Teslov and Marius (Andrei and Marius are the main characters so far, Josef's been mentioned once, and the Emperors of Corina (home nation) and Gryon (enemy nation) have been mentioned a fair bit). I've left some random breaks throughout (a specific nonsense word, so that I can Ctrl+F to find all mentions of it afterwards) where the enemy Emperor's surname is to go, since I can't think of anything right now.

It's actually unnerving to have people actually want to read my stuff.  Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmmm.

Works, though I prefer my first suggestion.

Current names (only two last names given thus far):

Antonio Lacusta-Mihaili
Daisy Sandhill
Mizuki
David
Ally
"Garv" (obvious pseudonym).

Zach (Issac) and Jasmine are the remaining two cast members who haven't been introduced quite yet.

In other news, I'm finally over 9000. My first goal is reached. w00t. Writing as somebody who's drunk is surprisingly dull, though. :( (Currently on: 9213 words.)
