The World Ends With You gets a 9 of awesomeness.
Anachronox gets itself a ranking of 7.

[EDIT]
Legend 2 added at 6/10.
Legend moved from 4/10 to 6/10.

I have a suspicion that a lot of my low ranks are misranked compared to the descriptions I've given them. Probably should sort that out at some point.

Added Lunar: SSSC at 7/10.

Pretty enjoyable and completely unoffensive, but never takes it to the next level.  Battle system, characters, and story and all good but not great.  Only thing I'd place as any more than slightly above average is the music, which I rather liked.

Some new additions this time around:

-Fire Emblem 6 is initiated as a 9/10*. Thanks go to whoever was the one who showed me it, but I don't remember who, seeing as I don't have a log.

-I will also rank Growlanser Generations. However, I feel it a disservice to lump the two games together, since we only chart at 10, so I will split the two as separate entries with (GG) next to them:
--Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice is initiated as a 9/10*.
--Growlanser III: The Dual Darkness is initiated as a 10/10*.

-Growlanser: Heritage of War is bumped up to a 9/10*.

-Bumping Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin up to a thin 10/10, and destarring.

-Bumping Riviera up to a 9/10*.

-Initiating Magna Carta: Tears of Blood as a 5/10*.

-Initiating Star Ocean: Til the End of Time as a 7/10*. I can't believe I haven't ranked it yet.

-Initiating RPG Maker 2000 as an 8/10.

Wow I've been letting updates slide.

FE10 at 10/10. FE9+1, yes. Given how close FE9 is to 10/10 already...
S4 down 1 to 4/10. Yes, I can't make up my mind on this one. So today, the desire to get a nicer bell curve wins out!
SO2 down 1 to 3/10. See above, minus one rank!
TotA down 1 to 2/10. Mmyeah, tossup between it and XS3 for me.

Need to take a good hard look at some of those 6's soon, that category seems a bit bloated. Also Chrono Cross.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

So I added the following games, which despite not having updated my list in months are the only RPGs I've played since then:

Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden: Chapter 1 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa at 10/10. Right below EarthBound as the fifth best RPG ever made.

Planescape: Torment at 8/10. Jesus christ it has some great plot and I like the characters, and the setting's pretty cool even though I know nothing about it. For a D&D guy, I'm sure it was like me playing a cRPG set in Kelestra City on Furillo during the reign of Archon Reinhardt Steiner I in the Grand Duchy of Furillo, and the fact nobody else knows fuck all of what I'm talking about illustrates how kind of lost I felt at times. The combat system makes absolutely zero sense to me, possibly because as I said, I know fuck all about D&D.

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness at 6/10. It's not a bad game, it's just not worth 20 bucks. I DID think, however, that the player character I made had a stunning resemblance to me if I dressed in pin-stripes and top hats more.

I moved WoW back down to 9 because shit has gotten worse since TBC launched. It will probably push something off the 10/10 when WotLK comes out, and then they tweak it so it's fucked up, probably based on the Arena.

You remind me I have been contemplating making a topic to discuss Wrath mechanics changes Rob.  I know people here will hate it, but there is a few people here who have played it and I find discussing the metagame of WoW is a million times more appealling even to outsiders than actually playing the game.

Would you have any input?

I guess my first question would be: are you familiar with http://wotlk.wikidot.com/? My primary interest in Wrath isn't mechanics, because I am, in WoW, an explorer at heart. I like to seek out the content and the stories in the game. WotLK is really interesting to me because one of their goals is to build up honest-to-god new Hero figures (Garrosh Hellscream and Bolvar Fordragon) to take the place of all the people who've been killed in WoW. I'm interested in seeing HOW they do this, because they could have done it earlier, but they've waited until they killed pretty much everyone to try.

That said, as a committed Prot Paladin, I have nothing to say yet, because I don't have anything to talk ABOUT. Well, except the unification of healing and d/h in to spellpower. That kind of worries me.

Things like the removal of crushing blows and whatnot as a pally tank was more what I was interested in.  Unifying spell damage and healing sounds mostly positive to me outside of the Holy Paladin situation.

It's certainly a blow to Paladin and Warrior tanks. Right when TBC launched, Druid tanks were stupid good because no bosses before Prince Malchezzar deal crushing blows. And not only do Druid tanks do more DPS than any other tank, but they can go in to a DPS form without respeccing. Unless they scale block value up massively, druid tanks could very well take the position of the only tank you need back, like they had prior to people figuring out how to down Prince.

Riviera down from 7 to a 4 (I liked the game's translation, but upon closer inspection, the harem-ness is just so much crap I can't stand it)
Ogre Battle:MotBQ down from 6 to a 5 (Not bad, just needed to edit my list a bit.)
Legend of Dragoon up from a 4 to a 7 (replaying this now, forgot how much I like timed attacks and transformations)
Koudelka, still starred, up from a 5 to a 6 (popped in my scratched 2 disc again in hopes that it might play passed the point I'm stuck on. It didn't, but I remembered that this is a great game.)

Raised MMXCM to 8/10 (+2).  Not sure why it was 6/10.  Must have been remembering the bad parts of the game or something, cause replaying it, it was a lot of fun.

Lowered MMBN2 to 5/10 (-1).  Can't really think of a reason why it was above average; must have figured MMBN1 was 5/10 and MMBN2 enough to be a whole point above or something.

Added MMBN3 Blue/White at 4/10.  Its MMBN2 with...some more retardness tossed in, and a ridiculous plot in the sense that it makes you head desk.

Added Mega Man Starforce 2 ZerkerxNinja/Saurian at 8/10.  Its MMSF1 +1...in multiple ways, so yeah, the rating felt obvious.

NOTE: The acutal games are ZerkerxNinja and ZerkerxSaurian

Changed MMSF1's name to Mega Man Starforce Dragon/Pegasus/Leo.  I did it with Pokemon, MMBN3 and MMSF2, figured I'd be consistent for multiple version games <_<
