They are a fine base level consumer CPU for cheap laptops as well as Netbooks (for systems that may as well be netbooks but people who hate tiny keyboards and stuff, which is a fine call). I had thought Intel had a provision out at least early on that they weren't allowed to be used in laptops over a certain size.
