Mara / Maya vs. Robo / Prometheus / R-66Y (both)

(Mara)
Robo vs. magic. Robo vs. Magic. Really, that's all you need to know about this week's not-so-epic contest. Maybe they'll figure out how to make robots punch really hard in the future, but apparently they forgot to make their robot armies resistant against medieval dancers blasting them with magic. A real shame, since magic resistance is a handy thing to have on time-traveling androids. Blazemost / Kafrizzle is fine damage normally, and it positively melts Robo's uninsulated circuits. And the less said about the lumbering robot's speed, the better. Mara's got a bit of a gambling addiction, but that's not a problem - she's confident that her huge bets on herself will pay off handsomely this week!

(Robo)
Prometheus gave man the gift of fire. Now this impudent stripper wants to give it back to him?! Okay, perhaps that was a different Prometheus, but still, compared to Lucca, Robo is not impressed with this sad excuse for a fire mage. Utterly lacking modesty or sense, it's a miracle her sister manages to drag Mara along. Aside from modesty and sense, Mara lacks one other notable trait: physical durability. A good Uzzi punch to the stomach might teach the dancer the benefits of wearing armor rather than cavorting about half-naked. And while Robo admittedly could use some work in repelling magic himself, his naturally excellent HP and Atropos's Ribbon should prove enough to conquer this shallow entertainer.

Robo vs. magic. Robo vs. Magic. Really, that's all you need to know about this week's epic contest, sarcasm included. Maybe they'll figure out how to make robots punch really hard in the future, but apparently they forgot to make their robot armies resistant against medieval dancers blasting them with magic. A real shame, since magic resistance is a handy thing to have on time-traveling androids. Blazemost/Kafrizzle is fine damage normally, and it positively should melt Robo's uninsulated circuits. And the less said about the lumbering robot's speed, the better - or how suffering circuitry damage puts a damper on his Crisis Arm's functions. Mara's got a bit of a gambling addiction, but that's not a problem - she's confident that her bets on herself will pay off handsomely this week!

Robo (vs. Mara)

Prometheus gave man the gift of fire. Now this impudent stripper wants to give it back to him?! Such travesty - okay, perhaps that was a different Prometheus, but still, compared to Lucca, Robo is not impressed with this sad excuse for a fire mage. Utterly lacking modesty or common sense, it's a miracle her sister manages to drag Mara along for the ride. Aside from shame and sensibility, though, Mara lacks one other notable trait: physical durability. A good Uzzi Punch to the stomach might teach the dancer the benefits of wearing armor rather than cavorting about half-naked. And while Robo admittedly could use some work in repelling magic himself, his naturally excellent HP and Atropos's Ribbon should prove at least enough to conquer this grievously shallow entertainer.
