Wiegraf (vs. Max)
« on: December 12, 2009, 12:08:49 AM »
A naive youth leading an army? Stop me if you've heard this one before...well, Wiegraf certainly has! Hoping to improve his track record to 1-3, Wiegraf has his usual array of Holy Sword techniques and impressive HP score and countering ability. He could go for magic, but he'll run out of the high level stuff very fast, and the low level junk isn't even worth mentioning. His own physical is high, but he does have to get past Wiegraf's evade..and he'll be eating Counter the entire time. Meanwhile, with no way to heal, Wiegraf's own blows will be doing irreparable damage, and of course there's always the chance that one of the status effects will kick in and end the match right there. So while his duels with Ramza were uninspiring, he can vicariously live out a needed victory against a much easier opponent. Who says you need a Holy Stone to kick ass?
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

Max's magic may be strong, but it is limited, and while his sword is mighty, he does have to get past Wiegraf's evade... and he'll be eating counters the entire time.
