Welcome back, everyone!  Ready to see who won and lost the most important tournament ever?  Well then!

The finals have arrived...the greatest of the great, the worst of the worst...the final battle of ultimate destiny!  Who, my friends, will be the greatest of them all?


Sufficiently Developed Science is Indistinguishable from Magic

Dr. Horrible (Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) vs. Dr. Hubert Farnsworth (Futurama)
And so, after many weeks (or months >_>) of combat between magic and science, the might of science has won out, bringing the two most powerful scientists together in a brawl that is sure to make the world quake in fear!  Dr. Horrible, with his Ph.D. in Horribleness, has developed fewer doomsday weapons than his opponent, but he has the advantage of youth and actually implementing the use of those weapons.  Farnsworth, while a bit more senile, is nonetheless on of future Earth's greatest scientists, and his vast army of mutated beasts will surely be a mess for the doctor to handle.  Who will win, my dear friends?  Will it be the young scientist or the old scientist.

Peeking at you doing your most private moments, Ceiling Cat is the master of surprise.  However...can even a kitty hide from the devastating might of a meteor impact?  Only you can decide, gentle views - kitty or meteor?

America the brave.  America the bold.  America the beautiful.  Both contestants fight for the future of the country, and both are synonymous with the greatest nation in the world.  Who will represent the country best - a hero of old, or a hero of (relatively) new?  


The Cake is a Lie

The Tick (The Tick) vs. David Xanatos (Gargoyles)
The Tick.  David Xanatos.  The Tick takes randomness and luck to an absurd level, while Xanatos plans and decides everything far in advance.  Will The Tick's randomness be more than Xanatos can predict...or is that just what he wants him to think?

I kinda look at The Tick vs. Xanatos and I can't actually see a winner so much as I can see who can win the most by failing to win. Xanatos takes that one. It is an approved-of finals match, tho.

George Washington - Probably one of the few guys in history that Gen. Patton would concede to. (On the other hand, if Patton came first, he would not yield)

At first, I was all for Spanners in the works, but Cmdr. King brings up a good point.  No Vote.

Thanks for everyone for voting - I do love this tournament, and it will come back.  I know the biggest issue was getting cut off a few times, and delays, and I really apologize for that.  Won't happen next time!  Anyway, good fun, time to make way for more tournaments!
