Figures the one you listened to the least is the one that got me into her. It is by far the most downplayed album she has and full of that bittersweet stuff that I enjoy.
It definitely is pretty cool. It's just that what really got me into her wasn't the subdued stuff, particularly since it starts assuming a somewhat samey quality that can be seen in, say, Aimee Mann albums, but it sorta lacks the songwriting strength that Aimee possesses. Emiliana interests me more when she's branching and playing with styles.
