I have, in fact, watched all of those reviews numerous times, and always want a pizza roll afterwards. Can't wait until the Attack of the Clones review goes up.
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

The world's "top" WoW raiding guild is forming with another of the good ones on a US server moving from a European one.  Some blah blah about how great it will be.  And how the guys from the US helped get them their sponsorship deal and they will get to raid on the realms that are up first and have very little lag.

Anyway the funny thing is that a bunch of nerds are being sponsored by the company that max Axe deodorant.

Edit - Couldn't find a quick link to whatever Blizzard have for us this year.

Edit 2 - xckd of course has a fucking AMAZING one.  I would honestly use that for weeks if it was available.  http://www.xkcd.com for anyone who uh doesn't have it on ready access at any given moment.

Okay, Blizzard has spent way too long coming up with April Fool's gags this year.

http://us.battle.net/matchmaking/index.html
http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/mobile/
http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/community/merchandise/gps/index.xml

Blizzard always does. Google is pretty impressive this year, too -- they even built an Android app.

On that note: I would buy the Deckard Cain GPS voice right now. I'd buy it nine times. (Also, probably, the D3 body pillow. But I am a Diablo fangirl, so.)

Completely agreed on the GPS. So awesome.

Speaking of gags that need to be real:

I'd buy it. Has to be more entertaining than the actual LoEG comics. Jack Burton alone guarantees more entertainment value than most things, really.

Trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. It's pretty damn cool, though a shame that the movie couldn't possibly be as awesome as the trailer.

You never know.  I have high hopes.
Rocky: you do know what an A-bomb is, right?
Bullwinkle: A-bomb is what some people call our show!
Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

Going in I didn't think that was possible, because Blizzard and Comics Alliance both pulled out all the stops but this is really a winner.  Awesome.

Best part of the quote? "Studies conducted about gamers concluded that this segment was completely untapped by any grooming products."

Dunno if these have made the rounds here or not. In case they haven't, I figure a number of people here will appreciate these. Extremely exhaustive reviews of everything that is wrong with Phantom Menace and the Star Trek: TNG movies. Also hilarious. "Star Wars: the Phantom Menace is the most disappointing thing since my son. And while my son eventually hanged himself in the bathroom of a gas station, the sad truth about the Star Wars prequels is that they will be around forever." Note: all reviews are multipart, sometimes half as long as the actual movies (vastly more entertaining than them, too.)

Phantom Menace: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxKtZmQgxrI&feature=related

Insurrection: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlV3bsafkq0&feature=related

Heh, heh.  Okay.  I'll admit I wasn't wowed at first because I watched the Star Trek reviews first.  Which, while he was right about most of it, amounted to little more than bitching about plot holes and a running joke about murdering his wife.  The Phantom Menace review clearly had a lot more work put into it, and as such is far more entertaining.

Quote
Y'see we once set up a naval blockade around Cuba to stop the Russians from building launch sites there.  It was a little event you might have heard of.  It wasn't a big deal, but you might have heard of it.  It was called WORLD WAR 1!

Heh.
